Original series book-worth it
Revisado: 07-07-23
I recommend this book to anyone who can relate to growing up with a best friend, marriage, romance, teenage parenting, High Schoolers, producing/TV Joirnalism topics of interest, children who’s parent is diagnosed with caner, a christian friend, etc. This has become my new favorite book. At first I almost bailed bc of drugs and alcohol veering towards the main theme but I was wrong and when a christian friend met a popular friend from a bad up bring, the plot thickened. I clutched hope for a good read and right I was. The narrator was epic, made echo reverb to help enhance her voice to make it sound real, like vintage telephone conversations. Excellence turned into extraordinary. Get the book & audible you wont regret it!

Unexpectedly Good for UnHoneymooners
Revisado: 06-06-23
I recommend this book to anyone who enjoys laughter and witty minds. I didn’t think I would like this because I thought it would be about a break up but it was more a romance about two haters falling badly in love only to learn they had the real dream life vs all the perfects around them. So I really enjoyed this Novel brings hope that love is still mysteriously found when its the right time.

Could not put this book down. I picked it out at a child book fair & since its a favorite part of History I enjoy reading plus it was thick, I thought I couldn’t go wrong and I was right. Best book I’ve read it will be an interest to all ages as I am age 37. To spark your interest: Young girl learning to be brave & independent deciphering codes to help an escape plan. It will cause you to be on the edge of your seat - cliff hanger to read the next chapter. Talks about heroes that went unnoticed and how the S.O.E & resistance helped in so many significant ways. A must read.

Fascinating Love Story
Revisado: 02-12-23
Really enjoyed all the life stories told in this book I started out picking a favorite person and reading each persons chapter til they all were in the same place to collide with. I started out with all of Ford chapters then after ch. 24, I began to read Larkins but stopped at ch. 40 because that is when all the characters meet together accidentally, then I read Palmer, to Dr. Beau to Nora to Cooper. Chapter 41 is when I began to read the book chapter by chapter because I had the characters memorized and understood without forgetting who was who. I loved the book and enjoyed a small case of drama that flipped to an interesting ending. I recommend this book and the Audible narration was excellent too. Only a few mistakes were made reading the text but nothing really noticeable.

Enjoyed it at first and then got a bit bored but only because it’s for a younger generation. I was interested because it was foster related, but the characters are under 12 years of age. I would recommend this kids.

Historia
When Randy Pausch, a computer science professor at Carnegie Mellon, was asked to give such a lecture, he didn't have to imagine it as his last, since he had recently been diagnosed with terminal cancer. But the lecture he gave - "Really Achieving Your Childhood Dreams" - wasn't about dying. It was about the importance of overcoming obstacles, of enabling the dreams of others, of seizing every moment (because "time is all you have... and you may find one day that you have less than you think").

Superlative Last Lecture
Revisado: 12-24-22
This book was given to me when I graduated in my Mentor college session to teach & give Freshman college introduction courses. It was so enriching that I stopped reading it half way because I didn’t want the book to end, so 5 years later I got the Audible and listened half way again, then finally finished it when I needed it most. Curled up to a Favorite book of mine, indulging every word. It was like hearing it as if my Dad was telling his life story, though I am not his child per say, it still made it extra special to be part of his Last Lecture. I enjoyed attending college lectures, but this one is a forever keep. It holds advice, strategic leadership, letting grudges go and a good reminder to not stress the little things. Guidance from a Father to a daughter as well as to a son. Admirable and I highly recommend this Book & Audio because its the Author reading it along with a 23 min interview about his Book-what a Special Bonus! Thanks!

Interesting enough to keep on
Revisado: 12-24-22
At first I was frustrated listening to the main characters story with how her life was being unfair, I almost turned it off, but I kept wondering will it would get better and other chapters kept me around to keep lingering back into the story, plus the narrator’s voice was wonderful to listen to. I did not follow a book, just listened while doing artwork. I did find myself excited near the last 5 chapters to pick it back up and listen to it. 13 chapters and 10 hours, was worth it but I gave it 3 stars because it was half boring and half exciting.

An Orphans War Review
Revisado: 12-22-22
This book was just what I needed to hear. The audible had a lovely accent and the storyline was impossible to put down. Took me a few days to read it and it’s now a favorite of mine. It’s a 10 hour read with 38 chapters. I enjoyed the main characters strong willed and kept her emotions to herself til she found trustworthy friends to support her in any way a helping hand could go. The book brought me insight what the fancy Hotels were like during the War in London and how entertainment was like in Berlin during the War. I felt like I was really there as a shadow with the narrator. I recommend the book for newly weds, widows, adoptive parents to mothers who donated a child in hopes for a better lifestyle then their own. This Book bring light into a dark world and hope as the end unwinds.

Great Journey
Revisado: 12-20-22
I enjoyed all the different countries they explored and made me feel like I was right there with them touring. I couldn’t put the put down half way through it was so exciting. My attention span dwindled when the couples relationship became unbalanced, but got back into it once the envelope money had finally been dispensed to explore their next plan. Overall good read, only a few chapters lingered dragging out the storyline that slowed my interest to take a break reading it.

But the truth is, she’s an Executive Protection Agent (aka "bodyguard"), and she just got hired to protect superstar actor Jack Stapleton from his middle-aged, corgi-breeding stalker.

Excellent Read
Revisado: 12-18-22
This book brought light into my lonesomeness. It made me laugh & taught me good advise to let some personal irritation go when reading how the characters responded to each scenario. I enjoyed a female bodyguard as the main character & lots of twists to keep me interested. I would not put the book down and near the last of the book went a whole day excited to finish it. I highly recommend this book, its worth it and the audible narrator was excellent changing character voices to sympathetic arrangements.
