Very enjoyable experience
Revisado: 11-24-10
The general story is good, but the moment to moment plot is excellent! Very enjoyable use of language. The narrator is doing a great job in the dramatization of the characters. There are lots of dark moments, but there is also a great sense of black humor in this work. In all, I loved it.

Historia
The Wheel of Time turns and Ages come and go, leaving memories that become legend. Legend fades to myth, and even myth is long forgotten when the Age that gave it birth returns again. In the Third Age, an Age of Prophecy, the World and Time themselves hang in the balance. What was, what will be, and what is, may yet fall under the Shadow.

At Last! Plot is moving on!
Revisado: 01-08-10
This is a great beginning to the concluding trilogy of the Wheel of Time. Brandon Sanderson is an awesome writer (I am a big fan of the Mistborn saga) and does an excellent job on this one, managing to remain objective and discreet, keeping Jordan's style intact. Additionally, he brings on lots of tension during the action scenes and he is very good at describing dark, ominous and ambient moments in the story. The plot is finally moving along and I come to really enjoy the series again (like I did in the past, reading the first 6 volumes).
There is still a dozen of main characters, but somehow their stories seem to flow together, and that is something I really missed during the tiresome and boring 8th, 9nth and 10nth books of the series.
The narrators are excellent and I highly recommend the enhanced version.
I am looking anxiously forward for the next book!

Historia
Mauritaine was a war hero, a Captain in the Seelie Army. Then he was accused of treason and sentenced to life without parole at Crere Sulace, a dark and ancient prison in the mountains, far from the City Emerald. But now the Seelie Queen - Regina Titania herself - has offered him one last chance to redeem himself, an opportunity to regain his freedom and his honor.

Really BAD narration
Revisado: 06-11-09
I listened only two hours of it. The story was fine, but the narration completely ruined the experience. The voice and intonation was very light and with no vibrancy, making even tough, battle hardened characters sound like a bunch of weaklings. The narration is just void of any emotion. I might as well have my PC read it for me. I just could not go through the whole book.
