Historia
A thousand years ago, the sea began to change, and the change spread. Now the boiling, toxic, lightning-wreathed Atomic Sea has encompassed every ocean on the planet, and the creatures that live in it have become mutated and unnatural. The sea's taint can infect any human who comes in contact with it or with unprocessed seafood, killing them...or altering them. No one knows why the sea has become this way or what it portends, only that it's irrevocably changed the world.

Great voice narration
Revisado: 04-23-16
What made the experience of listening to The Atomic Sea, Part Four the most enjoyable?
Ray Greenley has provided fantastic voice overs for the characters of this story which have made the characters more memorable to me and have also improved upon the story itself.
What was one of the most memorable moments of The Atomic Sea, Part Four?
The scenes where Avery has to deal with Sheridan in what he feel is right versus what he just feels.
What does Ray Greenley bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
Ray is a consummate professional who brings voice tailored narration to each character and gives the book a life of its own with more memorable moments over if I had read it page by page.
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
The book did not make me laugh or cry, but it kept me interested in the story the whole way through which is enough to ask.
Any additional comments?
I am interested in seeing where this story is taken, but really only in the means of hearing the narration which I have listened to for the past 4 installments.

Historia
What if...a machine could murder one person while implicating another for the crime? An alien being looked like livestock but spoke like a philosopher? Earth was ruined by war, and Mars was humanity's only hope? Robots were created to wage an unending war on the ravaged surface of Earth while man hid underground? Peeking into the future showed a worse result with each look?

I thoroughly enjoyed these short stories.
Revisado: 04-05-16
Where does The Unreconstructed M and Other Stories rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
It ranks pretty close to the top. I found each tale to be interesting in its own right and it reminded me of stories from the Outer Limits.
What did you like best about this story?
The science fiction aspect, whether it be based on pseudo-fact or pure imagination.
Which character – as performed by Ray Greenley – was your favorite?
I really like the way Ray Greenley had a different voice for each character. I was especially impressed by his variations of Russian and Irish accents.
Who was the most memorable character of The Unreconstructed M and Other Stories and why?
The bad thing about audio books is that I do not get to see the characters name in print, so they tend to escape me. I think it was Bentley, or Benson. It wasn't so much the character, but the situation itself.
Any additional comments?
I would recommend this to anyone who enjoyed Twilight Zone or Outer Limits, or just science fiction enthusiasts who enjoy audio books.

Action Packed
Revisado: 09-29-15
What made the experience of listening to The Atomic Sea: Part Three the most enjoyable?
As the story continues I have been able to watch the characters grow and change with the twists and turns of the plot. The narrator does a great job of voicing each character uniquely as well as showing emotion tied to that character. Of the three volumes so far I enjoyed this one the most.
What other book might you compare The Atomic Sea: Part Three to and why?
It can be compared to many books of its style. The characters have a quest and face many perils along the way in order to reach their goal. The author does a great job of fleshing out the nations and histories as well which lend to the circumstances of the adventure.
Have you listened to any of Ray Greenley’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
I have listened to the previous 2 volumes, as well as a book named Nebulous, and Ray continues to deliver superb work. He shows passion and consistency with his voice over work and really brings the story to life for the listener.
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
I found some parts of the story to be humorous but mostly this story felt intense. The action started early and kept on rolling until the end of the book.
Any additional comments?
I am looking forward to continuing the adventure of the atomic sea and I will be awaiting the narrations of Ray to guide me through the next tale.

The story is better compared to the first book.
Revisado: 07-10-15
Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
Yes, but I would suggest starting from the beginning. The story starts out slow but becomes more interesting.
Who was your favorite character and why?
I like the no-nonsense approach of Jenks.
What does Ray Greenley bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
Ray gives each characters his or her own voice and maintains the dialect throughout the story. It is easy to tell who is talking and what is happening in the story. He adds character to the characters. Great work Ray.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
If it were feasible I probably would have. I generally listen to books while at work, so sometimes I have to pause.
Any additional comments?
I thought the first book started out slowly but became more interesting and this book kept the interest growing. I would suggest this book to friends looking for an interesting sci-fi plot. I also like how the author fleshes out the histories of nations and the lore.

Story didn't captivate me
Revisado: 04-18-15
Where does The Atomic Sea: Volume One rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
I have only listened to 2 books so far, so this one ranks 2nd.
If you’ve listened to books by Jack Conner before, how does this one compare?
This was my first book by Jack Conner.
Have you listened to any of Ray Greenley’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
Yes, I have listened to Ray Greenley narrate the book Nebulous. His performance in both instances is excellent. He succeeds in distinguishing characters by using different voice styles. He articulates well and keeps the story interesting.
If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?
Powered by hot lard.
Any additional comments?
I feel like the story tried to tackle too much in too short of a time. There were many references to other nations, people, and past events that did not seem wholly important to the actual plot. I do find lore interesting in stories and the author has created a vast world which I can appreciate, but overall it was alright. I was moved by a part or two of the story when the protagonist experienced loss. I would have liked to have heard more like that. Really, the voice acting is what kept me interested in the story.

Historia
Three years after losing his father in a fire, 13-year-old Jethro Black (his friends call him Jet) finds himself embarking upon a mysterious adventure when, while attending his grandfather's funeral, a strange man walks up and gives him an envelope and a key. As a mystery begins to unfold, Jet and his best friend Travis are about to discover that there is more to the world than meets the eye, and they just may have a crucial role to play in the outcome of humanity's future. Nebulous is the first release in the young adult science fiction book series, Jet Black. Warning. This book series will take you on an adventurous ride through the world of Jet Black. Here you will inevitably find various religious and spiritual undertones woven into the story. Some of these are subtle, some are not. Others are hidden as clues to a larger picture. While some readers may value these as hidden treasures, others may choose to see them differently. If you are easily offended by religious and/or spiritual content, I suggest you turn back now. If however, you are not afraid of such things, by all means... Proceed at your own risk.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
The budding relationship between Milo and Mitch.
Any additional comments?
I really enjoyed listening to this story. I listened to it while at work and the way this book was narrated, it was easy to keep the characters and plot straight in my head even while focusing on other tasks. I am looking forward to seeing where the author takes the plot.
