Historia
Explore the power of the underdog in Malcolm Gladwell's dazzling examination of success, motivation, and the role of adversity in shaping our lives, from the best-selling author of The Bomber Mafia. Three thousand years ago on a battlefield in ancient Palestine, a shepherd boy felled a mighty warrior with nothing more than a stone and a sling, and ever since then the names of David and Goliath have stood for battles between underdogs and giants. David's victory was improbable and miraculous. He shouldn't have won. Or should he have?

Big Picture

I loved it! Great book delving into antiquated ways of thinking and questioning our intrinsic beliefs centered around David and Goliath as well as other historical issues. This, like all of his other books, will make you think deeply about what we hold to be true and why.

Historia
I almost didn’t publish Love Yourself Like Your Life Depends on It. Here I was, a CEO who’d fallen apart after his company failed, writing a book about how loving himself saved him. I thought I’d be a laughingstock and my career would be finished. But I stepped through the fears and shared my truth with the world. The book went viral. Amazing people all over bought copies for friends and family. For some, this book saved their lives. For others, it was the first time they ever loved themselves.

Great Techniques
Revisado: 09-14-20
Great Techniques but the story part felt like it drug on for too long. I'm sure writing it was cathartic for him, but it didn't resonate with me at all as a married woman. I could have listened to only half and still got all the key takeaways.

Historia
How Clients Buy is the much-needed guide to selling your services. If you're one of the millions of people whose skills are the "product," you know that you cannot be successful unless you bring in clients. The problem is, you're trained to do your job-not sell it. No matter how great you may be at your actual role, you likely feel a bit lost, hesitant, or "behind" when it comes to courting clients, an unfamiliar territory where you're never quite sure of the line between under- and over-selling. This book comes to the rescue with real, practical advice for selling what you do.

it was a quick read so I shouldn't be surprised to find that there wasn't much in depth knowledge. Most of the book was stuff I already knew. The topics stayed too superficial.
