Historia
For all its old-fashioned charm, Forbes Abbot is far from the close-knit community that ex-Londoners Mallory and Kate Lawson expected. In this village, everyday squabbles can quickly turn to murder. As the couple begins to settle into their new life away from the big city, it isn't long until they're thrown into the horror and mayhem of a true Midsomer Murders mystery. Detective Chief Inspector Barnaby has encountered many intriguing cases in his years on the force, but soon he will discover that the incident of the ghost in the machine is the most challenging of them all.

Too much Divergence
Revisado: 09-30-23
Way too long before Inspector Barnaby appeared. Seemed endless character development and not so much story.

Historia
It was one of the most searing images of the twentieth century: two young boys, two princes, walking behind their mother’s coffin as the world watched in sorrow—and horror. As Princess Diana was laid to rest, billions wondered what Prince William and Prince Harry must be thinking and feeling—and how their lives would play out from that point on.

Very well done
Revisado: 02-14-23
This book, very engaging. Prince Harry has a very pleasant voice, very easy to listen to, but the story in many instances is quite disturbing in many ways. His description of the poaching of rhinos had me in tears. I found everything he said quite believable, both his personal experiences and his feelings. His problems with his family are all too common, even if under unusual circumstances. I suggest that readers might consider also reading Ronan Farrow’s “Catch and Kill” for a further explanation of how people can be smeared by the media and PR people.

Time for a new real love interest
Revisado: 09-29-20
I have loved these books but I’m getting tired of the Bruno/Isabell situation. Any woman who really wants a family but hangs around with a loser is simply not interesting so why should a man be?

Just too obvious
Revisado: 01-03-19
I liked the characters, the performance, the
setting. But it was obvious from the start who the murderer was. I find it irritating that characters who should be on high alert due to one murder and then a second, are so obtuse.

Entertaining series
Revisado: 01-25-15
Have enjoyed each book. I hope the author lets Flavia really start growing up as she is starting to become a little tiresomely naive for an adolescent girl. I do look forward to each new book.
