Historia
Anthropology Professor Gideon Oliver would prefer to keep his mind on his beautiful new bride, Julie, during their English honeymoon, but one intrusive question will not stop nagging at him: Who would want to steal a 30,000-year-old parieto-occipital calvarial fragment? Yet someone has lifted this chunk of prehistoric human skull from a musty museum in Dorchester. Then, 30 miles away, an archaeology student is murdered, increasing tension and suspicion at a dig that had already seethed with suspicion, rivalry, and mistrust.

Louis L`Amour did it AGAIN
Revisado: 04-17-21
This is one great story . But the end is a "incredible" finish . It's more than a western. It's sadness, revenge, love, adventure, and romance .
I recemend this book.

Very good story super good performance
Revisado: 11-03-20
I have read this author before, but I think I liked this book "out of all the others" the best. The book is placed in the state of Maine with all the glories of that state. The main character is smart caring and brave. She tells us all about the challenges of life living in Maine, restoring an "old" house, with a live in ghost. She has a teenage son , crazed ex husband, a great boyfriend "all living with her", and there is murder in town. This is a small town where everyone knows everybody and everything about everybody! There is so much more to tell , read the book it's mysterious exciting great.
This reader's performance, is one of the best if not the best I have listened to! She really added to the book.
The author is a prolific writer, many books to pick from. This makes me happy, as I can count on good times from her books. Some authors books can disappoint, "not this one."
If you are a member of Audible books, and a Amazon Prime member, "I am," (this book is a free book!). What can I say (score) fun good read, free. and with staying at home I get books on line, yeah internet.
This book was fun , and a really good mysterious story. Recommend book, recommend author, recommend reader.

WW2 "exciting!" Learn from hate and love
Revisado: 10-29-20
This is a story loosely based in fact of a English family and a German family that crossed paths in WW2. It is a sad story of a sad time in histroy. Please understand people had to be exceptional to cope, this a examples of that.
We need to learn from history.
I gave this book 4 stars because it made we sad. But it also made me think and made me mad .
This book is well worth reading.

Pay attention to this story
Revisado: 08-25-20
This is a important story. Considering the instability that exists in our community and leaders, its a wakeup call. This story is about what happens if someone pushes " the " button and if and how we can survive. It is not a downer, there are parts that are sad but there are parts that you feel good , positive. I sat down and didn't get up until I finished the whole book.
I hope everyone reads this book . It's a very good and entertaining story. I highly recommend this book.
