I Love Quirky and Humorous Sci-Fi

I am happy that I purchased the Volume 1 set. I had a long drive from Oregon to New Mexico which took two days and listening to the first three volumes was great for my wife and I. It took our minds off of some of the long desolate stretches of highway. I am by no means a professional book reviewer, and there have been many books with bad reviews from people that seem to get a sense of enjoyment from nitpicking books appart, much like the "professional yelp reviewers". I hold very little regard for those reviews. I just tell friends and family, "I like what I like". I do read classic literature and serious novels, but I absolutely love books like this! The narration was spot on and the story lines to me are just brilliant. Never once did I say to myself "Self, why dont we listen to something else?" For two days it was nonstop listening to stories that this author has brilliantly put together. It was so much fun to listen too! I will be purchasing more from this series MOST DEFINITELY!!!! If you like quirky and Humorous Sci-Fi like I do, you will not be disappointed with this author or narrator! Thank you Barry for a fun romp through your great imagination!

What a great book!

I have always loved the music of Daryl Hall and John Oats and thos story of John Oats made me love it even more. It is fascinating to hear the stories that inspired the songs. It gives them a whole new meaning for me. The n there is the personal triumphs and adversities that John whet through that gives you the human side of this man. I am looking forward to the second part. Thank you for the music that is tied to so many of my memories!

I was looking for something light and entertaining and this hit the spot. Maybe there are other Kaiju to write about in the future? I really enjoyed how John was able to take a concept that most people would blow off as soon as they heard it calling it ridiculous and yet soon enough convinces you that it is more than possible. Thanks for a great book!

Another Tim Dorsey Hit

Once againTim Dorsey puts together a Florida tale worthy of the Serge and Coleman characters. Oliver Wyman is the man that brings these characters to life. No other narrator could do justice to the world that Mr. Dorsey creates

WOW!!! I absolutely loved this book!

The story was already great, but the narrator, Johnny Heller brought it all to life. Two talented people brought a funny and entertaining story into the world. I have read and listened to this book four times since I bought it. Today I just saw that there is a new book on the horizon, Razzmatazz to be released in May 2022. I just pre-ordered it. I was also happy to see the same narrator will be reading this book. Is it just me or does it seem like May is so far away?

Hands down, one of the funniest books ever.

The stories were interesting right out of the gate and the narration brought all the characters to life. It is laugh out loud funny and the innuendos are non-stop hilarious. I have listened to this whole series 5 times now and keep it loaded on my device so I can listen to it as I am driving and don't have internet access. This bundle is BIG!
"Thats not the only thing big around here man!", said Jezden.
"I would agree with that..Heelloooooo", said Hank Moon.
Captain Harr pinched the bridge of his nose while shaking his head, "Why do I even try. Commander Sandoo, take us back to book one of Platoon F!"
"Yes Captian"
"HIT IT!!!"

Great Story and Fantastic Narration

Neven has does it again! Wow! Just one twist after another that keeps me listening and wanting more! The narrators! bring this great story to life! Their voices are now synonymous with the characters. I hope they are performining in Volume 5 too! Keep up the fantastic work Neven! You have a fantastic and very unique story going on here with Boxxy!

Shorty Thompson is bad news...for the bad guys

I read Shorty Thompson: U.S. Marshall and I just had to read the second second book, Black Range Silver. I met Mr. Thompson at my Local Union in New Mexico and he told me that he wrote westerns about our state. He was gracious enough to go out to his truck and gave me a copy of one of his books, but not before he signed it for me. Perhaps my 5-star reviews may be considered by some to be biased, however I truly enjoy Mr. Thompson's books. I am surely going to purchase the next one as well. If you like a good western story, with heroes, villains, and wording as they spoke during that period, I think you will enjoy Mr. Thompson's books as much as I do. I'm gonna ride off into the sunset for now on my horse called Literature with my next Paul Thompson book, Willow Lane. Happy trails and good reading to y'all !
