So depressing. I wish I could unhear what I heard in just half of this audiobook. I found myself falling into a depressive and cynical mood. I started to wonder if it's possible to find a man who wants to grow old with me. I then realized that what these women are relaying is not everyone's experience. Some valid points and revelations, but nothing that will help to cope with the aging process. Now I'm watching YouTube interviews with happily married elderly couples so that I give myself hope again. Yeesh.

Would you consider the audio edition of Guided to be better than the print version?
Yes. I loved hearing the author read it, telling her own story. Emotion is injected where it's meant to be and the listener feels like they are getting to know the author personally.
What did you like best about this story?
Not only was Linda able to overcome a very difficult childhood, she turned herself into a success and is now sharing her (and her guides') wisdom.
Which character – as performed by Linda Deir and Ray Holley – was your favorite?
Linda Deir and her guides, but her mother and daughter were also very interesting.
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
The moment where she "sees" her guides was most exciting.
Any additional comments?
I love this book. I can't think of a more enjoyable "read" (including fiction) in a very long time.
