WHERE IS QUALITY CONTROL?
Revisado: 07-05-24
Seriously? Some schmuck approved this audio? Editors not doing their job! Who the heck wants to hear: " Helpppeerr." like someone scolding a puppy that just peed on the rug? EVERY...FEW SECONDS. JESUS.
Helplerrr... Helpperrrr...blah Helperrrr. blah blah Helperrrr. Is this a joke? You schmucks are screwing with the author, his income and his name. Everyone should return this and any book that treats the writer like garbage by not giving a ship. I promise you people will get fired and audible will start caring when they are told to shove off.

If cute dopey dog is always hungry gag is unendingly funny to you, then you're in for a treat. It never stops. Chapter after chapter book after book. are we there yet, are we there yet are we there yet are we there yet are we there yet?
The author does a great job and suckers the reader that he is finished with this gag at the beginning of this book... yeah too late. Are we there yet are we there yet?
He also does a great job with the hungry dog gag so there is that.

Historia
Pete is a simple man who enjoys a good drink amongst good friends. Not too much to ask, right? Now, he's trapped in a fantasy world far from home, stuck underground and inside the body of a smelly dwarf with fantastic facial hair. The worst part? The swill that the dwarves are falling all over themselves to drink. It's flat, it's watery, and it has the alcohol content of a rancid coconut. Can Pete save the dwarves from their own sour fate, or will he be forever doomed to plink his pickaxe away in hopes that he hits the motherlode?

Lazy writing. MC REPEATED MORON for story plot
Revisado: 05-05-24
Makes you want to cry or scream when a good author makes the MC a freaking moron just to generate a story plot or generate ? excitement. 1 catastrophic mistake is acceptable. one after another is lazy and intolerable. Where's the editor flinging this tripe back in the face of this author? Lazy money grab.
going to start returning garbage even if it's from a good author. you should be ashamed of this garbage.

The long-awaited sequel to Jake’s Magical Market is finally here—and now with more market! Well, not quite yet. First, Jake has to survive a perilous trek through time if he ever hopes to return home to his friends, his market, and his former world. The last time we saw our intrepid hero, Jake had barely managed to escape being trapped on a dead version of his own world. Using a combination of his new powers, he threw himself backward through time, back to when the god that trapped him first rose to power.

Ok how about Noooo!
Revisado: 04-10-24
The author tries to use the previous universe to start a new direction for the MC of book 1. There are many disconnects in the flow of the MC. Suddenly he's a moron and gets killed repeatedly... and learns nothing, thus dying again repeatedly. yeah... Just weak writing. You can not develop a MC and then make him a moron in the next book.
The author tries to delve into human emotions which is hit or miss. Opining about his past life... annoying at best. recent friendships... yes. Past life emo teen b.s. NO... NO ONE CARES dear author. Just like a MC that can't make up their mind for the whole book, again annoying and no one cares. This author is giving a shot at misc emotions to flesh out the MC. In this book he fails more often then not.
Why does the MC suddenly become an imbecilic? Seriously... why? I can't tell you how much of a treat it is seeing a good character turned into mopey annoying character that dies repeatedly. This because the author lobotomized the MC.
There are islands of good writing just like the 1st book that kicked off this great adventure. unfortunately thoroughly destroyed by weak writing, a character that turned stupid and a bad take on depression. The confusion of a weak minded character trying to figure out life and current situations doesn't help either.
The author needs to apologize for the writing not the change in the narrator. Could you be anymore insulting to the new narrator? No Author you didn't just inform your followers to information... you groveled to forgive you and begged us to accept the new narrator. not cool.

Revisado: 03-04-24
It's not Shakespeare, but it is fun, lighthearted, and entertaining. Nothing like winning the lottery and trying to figure out how to spend it. It's overwhelming, which is part of the fun. It's like God mode the 1st time. Fun.
The story does bring morals and ethics to the plot. It has fun and interesting characters ( wide and varied).
no regrets just enjoyment from the series so far.

Really dumb plot mistake
Revisado: 02-03-24
love everything... however... action packed which causes narrator to yell during combat and wisper with normal volume intermittent. the sound engineer should have compensated for the voice actors performance. This was every book in this series. Audible gets an F- for this screw-up. Audio series gets 4.5 stars. It's not Shakespeare but it's about average.
This book... not finished yet... but WTH? MC Is inside of monster with no coms... then gets an emergency call for help... WITH PORTAL.
..SO... Why didn't they drop a Nuke in it's brain while leaving? THAT should have been caught.
...that and he gets a call in a blocked area... uhh WHAT?
FAIL on editor's part. destroys everything.
after.

More of the same. Pretty good
Revisado: 11-02-23
love the narrator. this just seems to be the middle of a book/ major event... a good book however.
The author needed to clean up the ending. you can't have a massive fight without the final charter interactions, celebrations, revelations, further storyline clarification, consolidations and of course celebratory bragging.
nevertheless it was fun to see beloved characters.
go ahead... buy it.
