I was annoyed by Bevine’s volume and how his volume would rise and fall randomly. It makes sense why, but it is still jarring. And he does pronounce some words differently than I am used to, but that is just how he talks, so I can’t blame him for that.

The story is great, though it was indeed very long. There was much strategy and intrigue but not much character development. But some important plot points did actually take place, so I don’t advise skipping over this book.

I genuinely enjoyed the book, but most of the other complaints were legit. Long, tedious, and the speaker has his own unique style. BUT DON’T SKIP THIS STORY!!! It does add value to Mithril Hall and the character’s dependence of each other.

The speaker/narrator sounds very robotic with little to no emotion. Very monotone. He talks so very slow. If you speed up the sound it literally sounds like a text to speech program...very bad.
Love the story though! Awesome story!!
