Historia
The world is no longer safe for the Dragon Rider Murtagh and his dragon, Thorn. An evil king has been toppled, and they are left to face the consequences of the reluctant role they played in his reign of terror. Now they are hated and alone, exiled to the outskirts of society. Throughout the land, hushed voices whisper of brittle ground and a faint scent of brimstone in the air—and Murtagh senses that something wicked lurks in the shadows of Alagaësia. So begins an epic journey into lands both familiar and untraveled.

Hated it
Revisado: 12-10-23
I wanted it to be better. I hoped it would be better. I struggled to finish it. It just sucked. Maybe if he had centered on eragon it would be better but I think he’s just lost his way in writing.

I love this series. It’s easy to listen to as an audiobook. It has great characters. I already have the next one purchased and ready to start tomorrow.

Historia
Best-selling author Bryan Burrough recently made a shocking discovery: The small town of Temple, Texas, where he had grown up, had harbored a dark secret. One of his high school classmates, Danny Corwin, was a vicious serial killer. In this chilling tale, Burrough raises important questions of whether serial killers can be recognized before they kill or rehabilitated after they do. It is also a story of Texas politics and power that led the good citizens of the town of Temple to enable a demon who was their worst nightmare.

There must be a reason
Revisado: 04-30-19
These stories delve into the case and look at it with 2020 vision. They always want to know why it happened. They want the guy to pay. And that he got off too easy.
With a lot of things there is no why. I wish I hadn’t listened to this book. Not to say the crimes don’t deserve to be talked about or studied. But what is the point of the author’s reason for putting this up?
The author mentions how this could be forgotten in the city of 30 to 40,000 people. Why would you ask that? People are trying to live. People are trying to survive. And this happened decades ago. Why would they remember? Why would they care?

Non-stop energy drink action
Revisado: 10-16-18
Non-stop action throughout, with energy drink fueled frenzy of words and story. If that’s what you like then you’ll be pleasantly surprised.

If I could get my money back I would
Revisado: 08-12-18
I try not to have expectations for a book, and I hoped the title was just trying to be sensational.
The author didn’t seem to understand the technical aspects of the story line, and well it showed badly. He also doesn’t seem to grasp the bureaucratic nature of government especially our government, nor the general nature of the people who run it.
These were the foundations he set for the story arks, and well bad foundation bad book.
I hope he will pick something he knows better for his next book or at least do some research to get a better understanding of what he’s writing about in he future.
