What did you love best about In Such Good Company?

I love the way Carol spoke so fondly of all her co-stars and others, and avoided negativity while remaining truthful. This was a fun book to read and remember, as well as learn new things.

What other book might you compare In Such Good Company to and why?

Yes, I've been watching old Burnett Show sketches on YouTube and other interviews and such.

What about Carol Burnett’s performance did you like?

Everything. Funny, charming, loving, she's amazing!

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

So many, whether laughing, or thinking, or even a little sad when she spoke of Harvey's death and the end of the show.

Would you consider the audio edition of Between Heaven & the Real World to be better than the print version?

As a person with a visual impairment and ADHD audio books have rekindled my love of reading. I loved reading the book, but could also catch things I missed by listening. And the book has pictures :)

What was one of the most memorable moments of Between Heaven & the Real World?

That's a hard one, but I'd have to say the way Steven spoke of Maria's death and all that happened afterwards. The way that God placed people and things in their lives at just the right time, and the way that God used Maria's story in so many lives was so powerful.

Which scene was your favorite?

I think Steven's sharing how he wrote "Cinderella"

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

"SEE"

Any additional comments?

This book brought back so many memories, Steven's music is such a part of my spiritual journey, including praying for him and his family after Maria died. The only thing missing was hearing him narrate the book himself, but Paul Michael did a great job.

Where does Jimmy Stewart rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

It was quite good though not my favorite, due to the narration.

What did you like about the performance? What did you dislike?

Mark Whitman's attempt to sound like Stewart and others was a bit off putting, as well as his mispronouncing people's names or in the case of Henry Fonda calling him Henry Ford at least once. As a trivia buff I am aware that Bette Davis referred to herself as Bet, but when Whitman refers to her in this manner it's just confusing.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

Perhaps one of the final lines "Moments in time: The Jimmy Stewart Story"

Would you consider the audio edition of Roadkill on the Highway to Heaven to be better than the print version?

Not really. I would have loved to hear Chonda doing the narration. The narrator has a beautiful voice, and did a great job, but it would have been even better if Chonda had narrated it herself. More laughs and Southern charm and all that.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Ummm....Let me see...though I loved hearling about her kids.

What does Ruth Bloomquist bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Again, Ms Bloomquist did a fine job, but some of the humor and spirit of the book was missing a bit.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes, but I didn't. The layout of the book also made it easy to listen to a bit at a time.

Any additional comments?

More by Chonda, but I'd love to hear her, or someone who could add that Southern charm and humor to the reading, read it.
