I really enjoyed this book. It’s a compilation of a bunch of smaller stories that tie together and it’s sweet and entertaining. I highly recommend it if you just want to enjoy a good read and laugh a little.

Good story for a beach day or a long flight

This story is entertaining and it kept my interest throughout. There are two narratives happening in this story and I'm much more interested in one more than the other, which is why I gave it 4 out of 5 stars. But I did enjoy all of it and I would recommend it.

I don’t get it and I’m sorry I spent the time

I do not understand what this book was trying to say, the purpose, the plot…it felt like hours and hours of rambling. I wish had stopped listening early on, which is what I wanted to do. But I like the other book from this author so I had hope. I most sincerely do NOT recommend this book. I do recommend The Night Circus.

My executive coach recommends this book to me and very quickly I understood why: it’s filled with all kinds of interesting ideas and advice. It’s a book that I will re-listen to because there’s so much in there, I don’t think you can get all the information in one go.

When I think about what I actually did, I feel somewhat sad that nobody will ever know about the complex operation that I undertook. Getting away with it is highly preferable, of course, but perhaps when I’m long gone, someone will open an old safe and find this confession. The public would reel. After all, almost nobody else in the world can possibly understand how someone, by the tender age of twenty-eight, can have calmly killed six members of her family. And then happily got on with the rest of her life, never to regret a thing.

Somewhat predictable but a fun read nonetheless

The author is funny and entertaining but the story is a bit predictable. Everything just simply works out for the main character. But with that said, I did enjoy the writing and got through the book rather quickly because I enjoyed listening to it so much. Oh, also the reader was amazing! All in all, it is worth a read as it will entertain you.
