Revisado: 11-19-16
I've always been a Beatle fan and have read much about the Fab Four for many years. So I was apprehensive to attempt another reading, but decided to.
I highly recommend this book! It's humanizes Mr. McCartney and is a fantastic read or should I say listen!
Narration is also top notch with believable accents. Well done all around I was not disappointed in the least and not will you be.
This is good !!

Amazing ...Best I've listened to so far!!!
Revisado: 03-21-15
What did you love best about Tune In?
I felt like I was along on the bands journey, so incredible. Hearing stories from the people that were there when the guys starting playing from the beginning...
What was one of the most memorable moments of Tune In?
There were so very many...Its fascinating how the author creates climax. Or at least this is the way that i felt... anticipating the climb. As a fan I thought I knew all the history. However this release shared so much more fascinating info!!
Which character – as performed by Clive Mantle – was your favorite?
He did a incredible job with so many of the characters. Did a great Paul... however so may of his accents were enjoyable. It adds so much to the book!
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
Yes and no....i love the subject so wanted the story to last and last...
Any additional comments?
This has been my very favourite audible to date. I've read much on the subject but hearing from Liverpudlians experiencing the events first hand was incredible. As a Beatle fan or just a historical fan this a must...you won't be disappointed.

Historia
On June 6, 1944, the greatest armada in history stood off Normandy and the largest amphibious invasion ever began as 107,000 men aboard 6,000 ships pressed toward the coast. Among them were 14,500 Canadians, who were to land on a five-mile-long stretch of rocky ledges fronted by a dangerously exposed beach. Drawing on personal diaries as well as military records, Juno Beach: Canada's D-Day Victory, June 6, 1944 dramatically depicts Canada's pivotal contribution to the critical Allied battle of World War II.

History Little Known...
Revisado: 02-25-12
I really enjoyed listening to this book. I found the stories written from a first person's experience to be interesting. Although there were often mis pronunciations, the story was still compelling.
Canada is famous for being a steadfast ally but little is written about the important role played during D Day. I'm very glad the Canadian soldier's story and sacrifices has finally been told.

I really enjoyed this book. Ron Jr. does a great job narrating his own work. This is not an in depth history telling account but a personal account and reflection through the eyes of Ron Jr. I highly recommend this book!
