Historia
Gideon Cross. Falling in love with him was the easiest thing I've ever done. It happened instantly. Completely. Irrevocably. Marrying him was a dream come true. Staying married to him is the fight of my life. Love transforms. Ours is both a refuge from the storm and the most violent of tempests. Two damaged souls entwined as one.

Best series!!
Revisado: 04-07-16
This book wasn't my favorite of the five. It seemed to draw everything out. The epilogue brought the book together and tied up loose ends. I still LOVE this series and have turned a lot of my friends to it! Love love love!

Historia
Gideon Cross came into my life like lightning in the darkness... He was beautiful and brilliant, jagged and white-hot. I was drawn to him as I’d never been to anything or anyone in my life. I craved his touch like a drug, even knowing it would weaken me.

Revisado: 07-13-15
I am saying this after reading all 4 books. Better then 50 Shades! Can't wait for the 5th book release! I gave these books to a friend of mine for her birthday and she has just finished this book. Page turner. Did I mention this is my second time of reading these books

Historia
In 2001, Paul Bacon was a typical young New Yorker: hip, liberal, overeducated, a little aimless. But then 9/11 happened. Hearing a call to duty and lacking any better employment options, he joined the NYPD, with the earnest hope of making his hometown a safer place. Silly him.

Seriously???
Revisado: 06-07-15
I was looking for a great cop story. As a Cop reading this I was very disappointed. I was hoping by the end he changed his liberal ways and realized the truth of the real world.
The performance was great. Loved the guy narrating but I waited on a punch line that never came.

Historia
On a warm summer morning in North Carthage, Missouri, it is Nick and Amy Dunne’s fifth wedding anniversary. Presents are being wrapped and reservations are being made when Nick’s clever and beautiful wife disappears. Husband-of-the-Year Nick isn’t doing himself any favors with cringe-worthy daydreams about the slope and shape of his wife’s head, but passages from Amy's diary reveal the alpha-girl perfectionist could have put anyone dangerously on edge.

Great Read

Took me several chapters in to get into the book but I was glad I did. It was a really good book! I wish the ending would have been different and she would have gotten what she deserved.

Great read "listen"
Revisado: 03-24-15
Kind of hard to keep up with where the story was at, at the beginning. Toward the end it all made sense when the story came together. Enjoyed this book!!
The narrator was good, the different voices I didn't like so much. A simple he said she said would have been better but she still did a great job.

Historia
From 1999 to 2009, U.S. Navy SEAL Chris Kyle recorded the most career sniper kills in United States military history. The Pentagon has officially confirmed more than 150 of Kyles kills (the previous American record was 109), but it has declined to verify the astonishing total number for this book. Iraqi insurgents feared Kyle so much they named him al-Shaitan ("the devil") and placed a bounty on his head.

Amazing Book
Revisado: 02-05-15
I saw the movie first and then read the book. The movie is different in some of the scenarios but still great. This is a must read for everyone. Humble man who owns the true definition of a Hero.
When thinking of the Iraqi war I always thought things were the way he explained but I remained naive to it because my sister and brother in law were there. Now they are home and I can open my eyes.
My Hero wears Combat Boots! (Or hiking boots as Chris Kyle said he wore in this book!!)
