Call Down the Hawk is a story about dreams. The weight of dreams, the consequences of bringing your dreams to life, and why dreams are worth fighting for, and also why they are dangerous under the wrong control. It is the most powerful piece of literature I have ever read, even if I can't get the rest of the world to read it. But that’s ok. It’s not for the rest of the world. This book is for the dreamers.

This book is an amazing masterful tapestry of words. Morgenstern weaves stories together in a way that is pure, absolute magic. The performance is spot on and you really get a sense for the stories with the different narrators.

Maybe if a novel features the word "artistic" really frequently, you should probably not have a narrator who drops their R's.
