I was absolutely captivated by Jowita’s honest, witty, poignant retelling of her personal life story! Thank you for going there. I see me in this, only instead of alcohol, anger, shopping and smoking I have my own list - which includes some of those. I’m cheering you on dear! Thank you for going out on the proverbial limb.

This book helped me a tremendous amount. It went into some really critical detail about what is going on in this type of relationship. Not only that but spelling out how to extract yourself and what art to be. Because when you are in these relationships often times you’re not seeing anything straight. I found it wonderfully helpful. Thank you!

I have always enjoyed the fruit of the life that is Jeff Daniels’ on this earth. Sometimes I wonder who he was in past lives? He’s honed his craft well over the millennia. So much talent crammed into one body - it has to flow out. I’m thankful to be witness to this world changer. I got the pleasure of seeing him in Grand Ledge, Michigan when he performed at the Sun Theatre as a fundraiser to buy the theater a marquee sign years ago. He volunteered his time to help yet another small town in mid America. There’s no faking genuine goodness in a soul. I listened to this on Audible while cleaning a house that was going up for sale in Ann Arbor. Kept me smiling at the silly characters from his skits. Laughing at the stories. Grooving on the music and being overall thoroughly amused and entertained at the phenomenon that is homegrown Jeff Daniels! Thank you for being you!!

While I did grow a little bit, weary of the ongoing peptalk as the book went on, overall I thought it was an excellent read! Sexy Scottish accent a bonus. I have already quoted from this book to two different friends. Best advice was to identify what you are willing and not willing to do. That’s powerful advice! Great job!
