Historia
Jonathan Haidt skillfully combines two genres-philosophical wisdom and scientific research-delighting the listener with surprising insights. He explains, for example, why we have such difficulty controlling ourselves and sticking to our plans; why no achievement brings lasting happiness, yet a few changes in your life can have profound effects, and why even confirmed atheists experience spiritual elevation.

Contents are good recording and narrator less so
Revisado: 10-16-21
The content was good giving many examples and studies. However, I felt the narration and especially the recording was not so good. The narration was monotone and made the content harder to listen to. The big problem was the recording. It was terribly boomy and I had to adjust the EQ on my car audio to even ve able to listen to it. I have not had this problem with any other audiobook..

Historia
An introduction for everyone. In this rich, fascinating—surprisingly accessible—introduction, leading expert Eric Siegel reveals how predictive analytics (aka machine learning) works, and how it affects everyone every day. Rather than a "how to" for hands-on techies, the book serves lay listeners and experts alike by covering new case studies and the latest state-of-the-art techniques.

Very basic with little substance
Revisado: 10-06-20
I felt I was listening to the introduction for the entire book. I didn't expect it to get technical but am still left unsatisfied. Although the author basically states this at the beginning I thought there would be something more to this book. Basically I felt like I was hearing that they worked hard to gather, refine and think of ways to use the data. Over and Over.
