Historia
It's likely you have a threatening giant in your life...an adversary or stronghold that's diminishing your ability to live a full and free life. Frozen in the grip of rejection, fear, anger, comfort, or addiction, we lose sight of the promise God has for our lives. Demoralized and defeated, we settle for far less than his best. God has a better plan for you, a plan for you to live in victory. That's why he has silenced your giant once and for all.

It’s okay...
Revisado: 01-09-19
It’s okay. There are some chapters that were really eye opening and great, but overall it’s just okay. It’s not bad, but not great. It may really help others though, but was a little boring for me.

Best retelling of Beauty and the Beast EVER!!!
Revisado: 05-30-18
This has got to be the best retelling of Beauty and the Beast that I have ever read! However, it is done in such a different way with Irish folklore that keeps you listening and wanting more. It's romance, fantasy and adventure all in one; and the narrator is PERFECT for the book. This is, however, only PART 1, so now I'm reading Part 2 on my kindle. I hope Emma Hamm has other books on audible soon, because I want to listen to everything she has ever written. This is a more adult version , or at the very least, late teenager book, so be aware of that. Seriously, you will not regret listening to the book.

Feels like the old Christine Feehan
Revisado: 02-09-18
What made the experience of listening to Power Game the most enjoyable?
I absolutely loved this book. I was worried after reading Spider Game and almost gave up on Christine's Ghost Walker series after reading that one, but I am so glad I gave Power Game a chance. It is a wonderful story that gives insight into all of Team Four's characters. It is worth the read and hopefully it means that Feehan is back to her old self, and not just trying to publish books for money or her boss.

Horrible. Absolutely Horrible
Revisado: 06-15-17
What would have made Dark Ghost better?
If Teagan would have just turned out not to be Andre's lifemate and would have been killed off. She is a whiny, no common sense, nitwit ( I hated her). Also, a lot LESS sex and more story line. What the heck has happened to Christine Feehan, because I feel like I have been listening to a 1970's/80's harlequin romance trash book from the dollar bin at some random store.
What do you think your next listen will be?
Who knows, but I'll probably read Dark Promises praying for a better story. If it's not better then I'm not sure I can continue with the series.
Who would you have cast as narrator instead of Phil Gigante and Natalie Ross ?
I loved Phil Gigante's voice for the story, and normally I love Natalie's voice but this time it did not fit the character at all.
What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?
Disappointment, anger, and resentment with the writer (yes I hated the book that much).
Any additional comments?
Please for the love of goodness someone tell Christine Feehan that she is killing her reputation as a good author. Between this trash and Spider Game I'm about ready to throw in the towel.

Story(s) Are Great but 1st Narrator is AWFUL!!
Revisado: 05-17-17
Any additional comments?
I love the story Dark Crime, and for a "short" novel it is actually pretty long. The other two stories are okay, and good for a light read/listen but that's about it. The thing I hate though is the narrator for Dark Crime. I couldn't even get through it, so I just bought the book to finish it. The narrator sounds like an 80 year old villain trying to read a fairytale to kids. Horrible. The other two narrators are great though.

Historia
A mysterious island. An abandoned orphanage. A strange collection of very curious photographs. As our story opens, a horrific family tragedy sets 16-year-old Jacob journeying to a remote island off the coast of Wales, where he discovers the ruins of Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children. As Jacob explores its abandoned bedrooms and hallways, it becomes clear that the children were more than just peculiar. They may have been dangerous. And somehow—impossible though it seems—they may still be alive.

I have to be honest I was not expecting much from this book, but I am so glad I was wrong. The audio, the main character and the plot is fantastic!! It's an amazing story and I can't wait to start the next book.
