Historia
Is there a secret terrible enough that it should never be revealed, not even if it was tearing a family apart? For more than five decades, Emma Bauer has kept one - carefully guarding it with all her strength, and for more than five decades, that choice has haunted her life and also the lives of her daughters and granddaughter. Is it too late for wrongs to be righted? Does Emma even have the strength to let the healing power of truth work in her family?

Read this Book
Revisado: 08-14-22
I have read most of Lynn Austin’s books and absolutely love them. Eve’s Daughters may be the best. It is powerfully moving and thought provoking as she demonstrates God’s grace and redemption through the messes we make of our lives.

Story is ok
Revisado: 02-06-22
The narrator’s tone was very nasal and grating. It detracted from the story. Reading the book instead of listening would probably be better.

Historia
It's the stuff dreams are made of. Hollywood discovers a South Carolina orphan, Honey Jane Moon, and makes her a star. She lives a roller-coaster life. Now, though, she's all grown up, a child star no longer, but still dramatic and passionate. Two men, Dash Coogan, a cowboy movie legend, and Eric Dillion, the town's bad boy, know how fiercely she loves and lives. What Honey wants is the family she never had. She'll take the man who latches onto her dreams and who can hang on for the ride!

A Treasure
Revisado: 03-24-20
Honey Moon may be my favorite Susan Elizabeth Phillips book. The range of emotions the reader experiences while reading it is outstanding. Once again, as with her other books, this author draws her reader in to a world where love is evident from devastating heartbreak to the abiding joy found in life if one will only look for it.

Molly Somerville knows she has a reputation for trouble. She did give away her $15-million inheritance, but, hey, nobody's perfect. Yes, Molly's happy about almost everything...except her long-term crush on the daredevil quarterback for the Chicago Stars. That awful, gorgeous Kevin Tucker, a man who can't even remember her name! One night, Molly's penchant for running into trouble runs her right into Kevin himself, turning her world upside down.

Exceptional Story
Revisado: 08-07-18
A Voice in the Wind may be my favorite book and Hadassah my favorite fictional character. I could not stop listening and had to immediately begin the next book in the series. Oh that I could be as selfless as Hadassah. Her journey is truly inspiring - Francine Rivers weaves history and fiction in a way that is so relevant to life today!
