This conclusion to the saga brings more of what has defined the Crucible Shard series, hard decisions and complex choices as the lines between hero, anti-hero, and villain blur even more.

A good way to end, but nothing unexpected.

It was a wonderful story that each book cost too much for, but overall I feel the book series was good. The ending felt like an ending but not one where you felt fully satisfied, it felt more like a launch point for his next series (hopefully) that he mentioned in the authors notes at the end this last book. If that's the case I feel this book wonderfully transitions the series and would satisfy what's needed there.
