Historia
The world is in the grasp of the God of Chaos, his only mantra: Do as Thou Wilt. In the slums of Tuilar, Dirge is an apprentice to the Brotherhood of Assassins who worship the god of Death. His only friend Jacob, a jovial young man, feels at home in the world as it is, but Dirge craves structure. When Chaos orchestrates the Cleansing, a mass slaughter of children, people stand up against him. Amid the revolt, the prophet of the forgotten God of Order appears. Drawn to the ways of Order, Dirge finds himself at odds with those who raised him.

A delightfully dark surprise
Revisado: 01-02-20
This book does and excellent job of departing from the normal hero trials of the lit rpg world. As somone who has read more then a few this was a pleasant surprise, and an excellent example of the depths a person can fall with nothing holding them back.

a humble beginning
Revisado: 12-18-19
firstly my general overview is that this book in its self does what i look for in every book that i enjoy it tells a great story well, and brings to light an even greater epic. the characters held within are an original twist on the common man to hero tales. i look forward to the next chapter in the story of how far this common man will go to protect his family in a world now changed.

Historia
Everyone knows at least one person who demonstrates toxic love, someone who consistently jabs a straw in others and sucks the life right out of them. Without an in-depth understanding of how to navigate these relationships, most people continue to emotionally regress and remain paralyzed in familiar, pain-soaked patterns. But Your Mother Loves You helps listeners overcome this cycle. Kim Honeycutt shares the real-life experience of how a shame-based, self-destructive little girl grew up to be a recovered alcoholic and entered the world of psychology as a professional....

Raw and Honest
Revisado: 12-17-19
I struggled with this book at times simply because of its honesty and relatability. Many people go through similar parental relationships as this, and hearing the truth in book form was difficult at times. This is a powerful book of self-discovery and truth that many of us need to hear. The ugly truth and how to overcome, and be a better version of yourself. This is an excellent read!

Historia
A Great Winged One will soon arise and cast his fearsome shadow upon the land. And just as Night slays Day, and Day slays Night, so also shall another Black Witch rise to meet him, her powers vast beyond imagining. So foretells the greatest prophecy of the Gardnerian mages. Carnissa Gardner, the last prophesied Black Witch, drove back the enemy forces and saved her people during the Realm War. Now a new evil is on the horizon, and her granddaughter, Elloren, is believed to be Carnissa's heir—but utterly devoid of power in a society that prizes magical ability above nearly all else.

Amazing!!
Revisado: 11-27-19
I absolutely loved this book! I felt pulled into the story from the very beginning and I will be promptly purchasing the second book. The narrator was perfect for the way I imagined the main character, and she did an amazing job with various accents. The emotion was there, I laughed and panicked and felt what the character was feeling. Definitely recommend this read!

Historia
Joe has started to draw attention to himself and his abilities. While some of the attention is good and allows for personal growth, most of it is from various organizations that feel threatened by the sudden upswing of power that Joe's guild - The Wanderers - is attaining. As the threat to Earth begins to reach its peak, all of humanity has a choice: flee to Eternium, or stay for an uncertain future. Some stay, some go, some don't make the choice quickly enough.
