I really loved that this was in Spanish and that they kept the culture very prominent throughout. I wish they expanded on this story and made it longer. Would have made it better.

I never leave reviews but as a big softy romantic, that cries at comerciales, I had to share my thoughts. This book made me uncomfortable. The overall love story was kinda cute but the way these teenagers were possessive with each other was really hard to get through. We have all had that strong teenage love that feels like we are going to die without the other person. But I would have been so concerned if my teenage boyfriend made me promise never to give my lips to someone else.. over and over again. It was a bit too much for me. 80% of the book is all the same kissing scenes. Which ok fine that’s the title of the book but there was very little of anything else. We didn’t get enough of their lives during the 2 years they were separated. Then we were left with a cute ending for them that was overshadowed by all the questions of what the heck happened to Rune 10 years after. Ughhh

I don’t ever write reviews but I’m so disappointed. The male narrator was painful to listen to which made the underwhelming story hard to get through. I finished it in hopes it would pick up a little but there were so many missed opportunities for it be better. I was hoping the spicy parts were going to be just that, spicy, but the male voice really made them creepy for me. The female narrator brought the character more to life for me and I could have maybe got into it more if it was just her. When she’d recount Cole’s actions in her point of view I was invested and curious to know more. Don’t get me started on the underdeveloped villain. Such a anticlimactic story and extremely predictable. I don’t usually mind if we can guess what comes next but factoring everything else that made it more disappointing.
