Historia
The Harrington sisters have never gotten along. Sara is a type A, career-focused event planner, and her younger sister, Mariel, is the opposite: bohemian, semi-employed, and recently engaged. When Sara's mother lures her back to Connecticut under false pretenses, she is perturbed to discover Mariel waiting for her, eager to reconcile their relationship - and get some help with the final arrangements before her big day. The two sisters haven't spoken since the night Sara realized something was going on between Mariel and Sara's boyfriend, Carter. And now Mariel is about to marry Carter.

Only good for a mindless road trip
Revisado: 09-24-20
This book works okay for a road trip with very little to look at, but boy, is it brainless trash. The characters are unrealistic (either one-dimensional or totally unbelievable). All of the men seem weirdly unconditionally attracted to the ditzy, arrogant, self-flattering and selfish main character, and all the women MUST have something against her. I thought for the first seven chapters that it was being narrated by iPhone’s Siry.

Ten strangers are lured to an isolated island mansion off the Devon coast by a mysterious "U.N. Owen". At dinner a recorded message accuses each of them in turn of having a guilty secret, and by the end of the night one of the guests is dead. Hard to hear but fantastic story
Revisado: 02-24-20
Didn’t see that one coming at all!!
Agatha Christie has once again totally duped me and had me thinking the whole time. What a great mystery!!
The only complaint I have is that the narrator sometimes (very convincingly) reads mutterings as just that- barely audible muttering. Those parts were difficult to hear- but the voices are all unique and memorable!
