The author specifies in the preamble of the book that there is an accompanying PDF, no PDF is available from Audible.
This is a well researched, thoughtful and interesting account of the hardships escaping a forced landing in Axis and opposing local militia faction controlled Albania by 13 female evacuation nurses, 13 male medics and a flight crew of 4; and, of their arduous overland journey to freedom during the Second World War.
Military historians might not be the audience; however, the insight into the inexperience and naiveté of these brave people illustrate how members of the military were pushed into situations that they were neither supplied or prepared properly for.
As this tale unwinds it is severely hampered by the lack of maps, illustration and photographs in that missing PDF.

The Great A'Tuin, the heroic turtle who supports the weight of the entire Discworld, not to mention four giant elephants, swims through the galaxy day and night with the burden of being the only creature who knows exactly where the universe is going. Philosophers have long debated where this is, and are due to find out in about 2 months. Shall they worry? Well, they are on a collision course with a malevolent red star and only one person can save Discworld.

Good Story with lousy presentation

An excellent well read story that should be given better treatment by audible. Too bad that this audible file is sooooo below standard; something that could be improved by audible if a new enhanced quality version would be made available by transferring from compact disc source. This is the only Discworld story that has not been provided with a enhanced level. All of the others have been re-done, why not this one?
