Bought this thinking it was the novel the motion picture was based upon which I thought could tie up some questions I had. Unfortunately this was not and by the time I got around to it I was disappointed but gave it a chance. I would say as others have that this had a thin story and characters that I absolutely didn’t find interesting nor care about. The story took much to long to go full circle back to the vague beginning, although the attempt was a good idea it was poorly performed and left no surprise if that was the intent. Still I will try another novel by the author since he has amassed a following and long list of novels, maybe this was just a bad apple in the bunch.

I could not get this book to play, it would give a short one second electronic screech and then nothing, even when I would advance through and press play there would be nothing there. I am forced to return it.
