An excellent story!

I listened to this last year and was really impressed by what a wonderful story it was. It is so taught and well written that you can't see the ending coming. The narration is spectacular. A really wonderful listen!

Ok, so it's James Patterson. Yet it's a solid, well written story with relatable characters and plenty of suspense woven in. It keeps you involved right up until the end and the narration is excellent. A very good listen!

So dreadfully awful!

I kept waiting for something interesting to happen, anything. yet it never did. It was words and words and so many words in no particular order with no real meaning or storyline. and it COULD have been something; loads of material. It just never happened.

Yet the story never took off, it never found its legs. strewn together like every poorly written rock & roll band article you've ever read smashing together every 70's band into one, "Daisy Jones & The Six" is nothing more than words. it wants to be more. it yearns to be more - but fails. There's a "lyric sheet" and "song recording" included.That lack of focus is felt in the writing. Skip this, go to "Evelyn Hugo" instead. That too is a smash up, but at least it is better done.

Seven Husbands Lives Up To Expectations

Perhaps the worst thing is when you start a much hyped book only to find it disappointing. This is not the case with "The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo", a well-crafted decades spanning and complex story of a woman, her heart, and her emotional costs to be a woman. The performance is outstanding and adds to a deftly woven story. Above all, it does not disappoint and has a satisfying, surprising ending.

Spectacular Business Book!

One of the best business books you haven't read! As usual, Daymond John takes huge complicated business principles and breaks them down to easy to understand ideas. This outstanding book is well worth the money and makes a fabulous gift for any teen interested in business or any fledgling entrepreneur.

Take A Ride With McConaughey!

Ok. I expected an OK book, but was pulled in by the idea of hearing Matthew McConaughey for a few hours. What I GOT was a window to the struggle for privacy, respect and the honesty of his path to finding them. There are plenty of laughs along the way and well, no one can tell a story quite like McConaughey! Especially his own. I could listen to this gem 20 times over. A definite listen!

Solid story. Annoying giggle & narration

This could be a great story given the subject matter. This is the story of the young man who blew the whistle on Theranos. Great story, great subject. It gets lost in self indulgent story telling, giggling that makes light of the subject matter and too much of "wow, isn't that cool" affect.

Outstanding narrative of Ireland's darkest times

"Say Nothing" shines a new light on "the troubles" with an unflinching examination of Northern Ireland's heroes, villains, and how easily the two were confused. The betrayal shown to even the most loyal was astounding and soul crushing. No one was spared. This book is well worth the read, listen, and most importantly your time - particularly during these most troubled political times.
