Historia
Behind Paris Hilton’s meteoric rise from Upper West Side club kid to household name lies her self-proclaimed 'superpower' of ADHD and a hidden history that traumatized and defined her. Shocking, funny and surprisingly profound, Paris is the deeply personal memoir of the ultimate It Girl and a stunning inside view of a pop culture phenomenon.

This audiobook is inspiring, heart-wrenching and altogether a must-read/listen. Love the fact that it was narrated by Paris herself,

Historia
Jennette McCurdy was six years old when she had her first acting audition. Her mother’s dream was for her only daughter to become a star, and Jennette would do anything to make her mother happy. So she went along with what Mom called “calorie restriction." She endured extensive at-home makeovers while Mom chided, “Your eyelashes are invisible, okay? You think Dakota Fanning doesn’t tint hers?” She was even showered by Mom until age sixteen while sharing her diaries, email, and all her income. In I’m Glad My Mom Died, Jennette recounts all this in unflinching detail.

This book hit me like no other… Hearing Jennette read her own story is SO powerful. I have so much respect for the means in which she read this back being how tough some of these moments must’ve been.
It was powerful to hear/read the young version of her living her life, with the commentary of a more mature her narrating. Every chapter had a sense of reflection.
Couldn’t recommend this book any more! Also the first audio book I have loved. The narration is very well done!
