While much of this book was what I was looking for , this book needs to come with a warning.
The author laments about the so called sins of homosexuality far to often, about how to deal with our adult children’s moral "failures" and even talks about how they handled their own sons “struggles with same sex attraction” and how he suffered greatly from this affliction”. WTH
I wish I had known this beforehand. No thanks. Homophobia is not ok.

All I can say is I was struggling with thinking about my separated spouse and the affair partner constantly. I went back and forth in my mind and was obsessive. After about 3 weeks I realized my thoughts had declined significantly and I knew I deserved better. I continue to listen and it has made a huge difference in my mindset. I am about 4 weeks in and feeling a sense of content I have not had in years.

Been cheated on? Once, twice, long term affair?

Another review of this book 9/2018 It has been a year after I had packed my cheaters things and I was feeling stuck. We are separated, not divorced and I have found myself feeling lost. I just relistened to this audio book and my resolve is renewed. I needed chump lady's kick in the a$$ to remind me who I am, that I did the right thing and what I will not tolerate( cheating). Thank you Chump lady.

This book is for you.
And like me, If you are a chump caught up in a cycle of 'forgiveness' and repeated betrayals this is the wake up call you need. It is straight forward , it is the talk you need to hear from the friend to shake you and wake you up as you pick yourself up off the floor. Buy it. Listen. And listen again and again when you find yourself doubting that your cheater and being cheated on isn't the horrific crime against your heart, mind and relationship that it truly is.

What made the experience of listening to The Wild Side Trilogy the most enjoyable?

The narrator for this book was fantastic.

What did you like best about this story?

This storyline took an interesting turn, I was pleasantly surprised by change in course.

What about Jason Clarke’s performance did you like?

Jason Clarke was brilliant! Adding him to my fan girl list of male narrators.

The narrator made this book. He was exceptional and took a book with an older man/ younger woman scenario which normally would make me want to vomit into an intriguing riviting storyline.
