Dr. Shumsky has done a detailed, quite intricate job of introducing the Beatles in depth.
She documents their influence and immersion into the culture and knowledge of the Eastern methods for enlightenment.
She beautifully illustrates the depth of understanding that each Beatle absorbed and expressed in their lifestyle, music and relationships.
By introducing each album with a detailed background, the reader comes to understand and conceptualize the meaning of deep transcendental experiences like: going beyond thoughts, how we generate and receive karma, and how we can go beyond it.
The greatest gift of this beautiful expose’ is how to create the reality that we want in life,by documenting and un-packing the experiences of the Beatles!

This personal experience told with deep clarity and tender intimacy was very inspiring for me. Many seekers of Enlightenment have also gone down the rabbit hole of hero worship,then crashed into the rude awakenings of finding humanity at the root of Guruhood. It can be a painful process of the final acceptance of the truth. This author takes us on an intimate journey of finding our own Inner Guru without attacking the beautiful knowledge gained as a part of one’s spiritual evolution.We are all human beings on this planet. We all have weaknesses and strengths. Gurus are leaders. If they lead us out of the darkness in any way, they have succeeded. This author appears very mature and genuine.
