Historia
In this paradigm shifting book, Dale Bredesen, MD, offers real hope to anyone looking to prevent and even reverse Alzheimer's disease and cognitive decline. Revealing that AD is not one condition, as it is currently treated, but three, The End of Alzheimer's outlines 36 metabolic factors (micronutrients, hormone levels, sleep) that can trigger "downsizing" in the brain. The protocol shows us how to rebalance these factors using lifestyle modifications like taking B12, eliminating gluten, or improving oral hygiene.

A Must Read
Revisado: 08-30-24
I wish I read this ten years ago, but so glad I did now. My mother has advanced Alzheimer's and I feel much more hopeful from reading this book, that there is much my sister and I can do to help prevent this similar fate. So incredibly interesting and despite the science being over my head at times, I appreciated the metaphors that were easy to grasp and understand. Great narration as well. Thank you for this book, program and research!

I love both Brene and Esther's work separately and this is the first time I have heard an interview with them together. What a dynamic duo! They both bring so much authenticity and vulnerability to the table while taking on such important and relevant issues.
The one liners alone were very impactful and thought provoking. I look forward to listening to future episodes in this series. Thank you for this! ❤️

Historia
Rock On: Mining for Joy in the Deep River of Sibling Grief is about love, loss, grief, and the journey toward hope and reclaiming joy. Rock On focuses solely on sibling loss because it's a tragedy author Susan Casey experienced in her own life. On Valentine's Day, 2014, she learned of the horrific and unexpected death of her 43-year-old brother, Rocky (birth name: Brian), who died while in Hong Kong with his wife and three-and-a-half-year-old daughter.

Such a beautiful , well written book!
Revisado: 02-19-24
This is a touching, beautifully written memoir about the relationship and deep bond between the author and her younger brother, Rocky. It begins with their childhood and carries into adulthood when she suddenly and traumatically loses him to a medical condition. Susan also describes how challenging family dynamics can be, especially with a sibling's spouse in the grief journey. I appreciate how deeply honest and vulnerable she was throughout the book.
I am so thankful Susan wrote this book and shared her story, as well as the stories of a number of other people she interviewed, who also lost a sibling. This book helps validate how profound, life changing and impactful losing a sibling can be, yet also manages to inspire hope that there will be times of joy again.
I highly recommend this book for anyone who has lost a sibling or wants to better understand sibling loss. Thank you for this beautiful book Susan!

Revisado: 02-09-24
I didn't know what to expect since I had only done a few of her classes (mostly because a Tunde class means you are getting your butt kicked, but I am coming around).
However, you don't need to know Tunde from Peloton or anywhere frankly to enjoy and learn from this book. It is beautifully written and narrated, and deeoly impactful. Tunde addresses important topics and life events throughout the book with incredible poise, honestly and vulnerability.
I can only hope that Tunde continues to write, as her words and wisdom are a gift to us all! Thank you for this Tunde!

Cody Rigsby has a lot of opinions: Kevin is the hottest Backstreet Boy; grape jelly is a crime against nature; if you wear flip-flops in New York City, you do not love yourself. But if there is one opinion—one truth—that he holds above all others, it’s that we shouldn’t let the fear of looking stupid or being judged hold us back from living our best lives.

Beyond just fun & flirty, satisfyingly real
Revisado: 09-25-23
With Cody being one of my favorite Peloton instructors, I was always going to read this book. But truth be told, it was even better than I expected. I really appreciated Cody's honesty and vulnerability. I had always wondered why he never mentioned his father on rides and enjoyed learning a lot more about his relationship with his parents (not spoiler alerts here.) It was fun to hear more about his upbringing and journey with Peloton . This book was funny, inspiring and very entertaining. A definite yes for any Cody fan or anyone that needs to hear that truly anything is possible. Thanks boo! xoxo
