I did not expect this book to be as good as it was. I bought it because I liked listening to Dan Stevens, I listened to him on the Orient Express and really enjoyed the way he narrated the story.
Frankenstein was a beautifully sad story that made me feel very emotionally attached to the characters on both sides. the language was lovely to listen to and I can definitely see why it's a classic.

I really enjoyed listening to these fun little stories - some were better than others but they all seemed completely ordinary and realistic, like they could all be happening right now or in the near future. I think the fact that they were so ordinary and realistic made them charming and relateable. they didnt blow me away but I still enjoyed listening.
have to say though, did throw me off having Tom Hanks narrate about the sexual parts - hearing the voice of Woody talk about intercourse was something I could have lived without! lol

took some time to get used to the multiple narrators and sound effects but after a few chapters I started enjoying it! quick listen and a simple enough story to follow and keep my interest.
