Love the style of writing, but not enough story… too many vignettes from the past, newspaper columns and recipes. Stick to telling a tale. Good characters to work with. Lazy using so much filler.

Too much time spent recollecting past events and anecdotes not at all relevant to the story! Completely can be skipped over. These stories are best when Mona and Liddy have real parts - missed them in this book.

Misleading story "time".

Part of my consideration in purchasing Audible titles is length of story. It's very disappointing to have an audio story end 29 minutes before the end of the advertised length of audio recording and then be thrust into the beginning of the next story in the series. This feels like a cheap marketing come on and I didn't get the length of story described or that I thought I was purchasing!
