Historia
Not every danger comes in the form of a mega-threat like a Titan. Some predators are a lot cozier...more personal. When one such creature threatens an independent tutor, Harry Dresden must shake off the blood and dirt of his most recent battles and rise to the occasion, even when it turns out that the new predator is far more dangerous and connected than first appearances would suggest.

He read his own book!
Revisado: 06-22-24
I like that Jim read his own book. He has a very nice voice and of course he knows what inflection he intended for the characters to have. Some of the voices you did were a little odd; like for Bob the skull.
I remember having to get used to John Glover reading Ghost Story. But since it happened on the story, where Harry is literally navigating the afterlife, and John Glover has such a great voice, it was doable for the one book. So glad that James Marsters came back!!
Nice little experiment. I liked the bloopers at the end.

Historia
Lilah is stuck in the middle. At least, that’s what having a hearing loss seems like sometimes—when you don’t feel “deaf enough” to identify as Deaf or hearing enough to meet the world’s expectations. But this summer, Lilah is ready for a change. When Lilah becomes a counselor at a summer camp for the deaf and blind, her plan is to brush up on her ASL. Once there, she also finds a community. There are cute British lifeguards who break hearts but not rules, a YouTuber who’s just a bit desperate for clout, the campers Lilah’s responsible for (and overwhelmed by)—and then there’s Isaac.

Finally!! Some Good YA Representation for the Deaf Community!
Revisado: 07-19-23
I love the way the audiobook gives the “listener” a representation of what it might sound like when a hard of hearing person doesn’t catch everything. The struggles they go through, and an example of each kind of real world interactions from “Hear-ies“.
My daughter is interested in ASL, and she will definitely enjoy this!

(Author) Revised Edition
Revisado: 05-10-22
It was really nice to revisit this series again in audio format. I’m disappointed that there are only two of the original three books I read, and another three that I hadn’t known about before. I do agree that the rape scenes are a little too detailed. But otherwise an enjoyable urban fantasy story.
I was going to write a scathing commentary on not being true to the authors vision. When I heard at the end of the credits that this was a revised edition by the author herself. Then I thought about it, and decided that it was revised to make it sound better. And who hasn’t wanted to tweak this or tweak that after the fact?

Wonderful Conclusion!
Revisado: 02-22-21
Wil Wheaton, once again, brought this well thought out, trivia packed, and well paced story to life. There were improvements from the first book. Like how it wasn’t just Wade that completed the tasks. It touched on all of the Hi-Five’s strengths. And eventually, Wade learned to ask for help; bringing in the Next-Gen Gunters, like the Lo-Five. There was growth, and further exploration of where the world is heading if we don’t start taking care of this world we live on.
Thank you Ernest Cline, and Wil Wheaton

Historia
In the year 2045, reality is an ugly place. The only time Wade Watts really feels alive is when he’s jacked into the OASIS, a vast virtual world where most of humanity spends their days. When the eccentric creator of the OASIS dies, he leaves behind a series of fiendish puzzles, based on his obsession with the pop culture of decades past. Whoever is first to solve them will inherit his vast fortune—and control of the OASIS itself.
