I've completed this audible book and have ordered the hard copy for our lending library. Elisabeth discusses her contemporary research on modern polyamory relationships, she reports on the experiences of persons within these new relationships, including those with a long term family unit structure, but of a non-monogamous style. There is a growing library of how polyamory works, but few have taken the time to do skilled and ethically based research into this not so new type of relationship, dare I say family structure, that is coming our of the shadows. Please give it a read. Share with others.

Cornwell does an excellent mystery again. I'll admit that I've skipped a few novels and I'm now "backfilling" the story with some of the earlier Scarpeta stories. I find the performance by CJ Critt easy to listen to and I enjoy her rendition of the characters. I recommend the story, performance, and production.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

I have and will again recommend the entire Eve Duncan series by Ms. Johansen. I began reading her, but her stories lend themselves particularly well to audio and Jennifer Van Dyke has the perfect sense of drama, and character style in her rendition of the books.

Did the plot keep you on the edge of your seat? How?

I don't know what this book would be like for someone not familiar with the works preceding this conclusion to the mystery of Bonnie yet I think that the characters and plot are definitely enhanced with the background of the full Eve Duncan series. If I were to recommend just a few books to reach this Bonnie novel, it would begin with Chasing The Night, then Eve, followed by Quinn, and then Bonnie. Though it would be a shame to miss the beautiful intricacies of the earlier novels to understand the desperate passions of each of the characters in Bonnie.
