I tried and tried to get through this book. Kate Rudd did nothing to help this vapid set of characters.
I was unable to make it through one book much less the sequels.

Would you consider the audio edition of A Memory of Light to be better than the print version?
I read many of the other Wheel of Time books, but this one only listened to the audio version, so I cannot compare.
Would you recommend A Memory of Light to your friends? Why or why not?
Yes, this was the finale to a wonderful series by Robert Jordan. I felt that the end was rushed and am awaiting a sequel...lol
What about Michael Kramer and Kate Reading ’s performance did you like?
They did an outstanding job, so many characters and what a big time commitment.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
Impossible, as are all of Jordan's books.
Any additional comments?
I thought for all the details and drawn out characters and sub-plots the wrap up at the end was rushed. What happens to all the characters who live on...I think an epilogue would have been appropriate unless Mrs. Jordan wishes to have a series of sequels published. That would be disappointing as I have journeyed so long with this series and wish the ending was more thought out. Sad....

This book wasn’t for you, but who do you think might enjoy it more?
Young preteens, but even they are too smart for this convoluted tale.
What does Julia Whelan bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
She does a good job with bad story line and dumb partial characters.
If you could play editor, what scene or scenes would you have cut from Love in the Time of Global Warming?
Everything, this book is so disjointed it ends up being a waste of time.

What made the experience of listening to The Rook the most enjoyable?
I like the plot and character development, so many "didn't see that coming" experiences.
Really fun,hope Mr. O'Malley is writing about Bishop so I can have more adventures with this cast of characters.
Which character – as performed by Susan Duerden – was your favorite?
Miffanwy, of course, but all the the characters were authentic enough to make me feel that I was encountering individuals...
