Historia
Alicia Berenson’s life is seemingly perfect. A famous painter married to an in-demand fashion photographer, she lives in a grand house with big windows overlooking a park in one of London’s most desirable areas. One evening, her husband, Gabriel, returns home late from a fashion shoot, and Alicia shoots him five times in the face and then never speaks another word. Alicia’s refusal to talk, or give any kind of explanation, turns a domestic tragedy into something far grander, a mystery that captures the public imagination and casts Alicia into notoriety.

A light in the darkness for severely troubled children, former special education teacher Torey Hayden faced three of her most extraordinary challenges after she left the classroom. Not great, not terrible-It was good.
Revisado: 06-17-21
As I got half way through, I felt that it was dragging a little bit and decided to start another book and finish it-then came back and finished this one. It was good, the narrator was excellent. Only issue was the writer kept breaking down the same thought processes-I found myself zoning out a bit. But I'm glad I finished it.

It kept me hooked
Revisado: 06-11-21
It was really good. The narrator was excellent. Sometimes it dragged on a little and the repeated years of mistreatment was frustrating to listen to (like my God, how could this go on for so long while noone says or does anything?!) But like so many stories like this case, we all wonder the same thing. I recommend this book though. I never wanted to stop listening to see what happens next.
