Historia
Divorce has devastating effects on children. Yet for divorcing parents who carefully consider and manage the intricacies associated with this difficult time, both parents, as seen from the child’s perspective, can remain as loving and supportive as they ever were. Parenting through Divorce concisely lays out the specific emotions and reactions parents need to anticipate from their children while going through separation, divorce, and its after-math.

I laughed out loud more than expected
Revisado: 04-15-25
I am a positive person and have the social wrinkles on my forehead and the Crows feet next to my eyes. I smile and laugh a lot, always searching for the positive even when things seem to be the worst situation ever. This book covered a large amount of situations that anyone would be attentive to. Sounds like the exact issue I'm going through on many of these stories. The responses to the ex, including the cursing lol. Very human, very relatable. Reguauardless, if it was in your head or out loud! This book will help the serious parent who understands, the children are the MOST effected by the parents decisions. The children have a GREAT chance of having limited mental health issues after a divorce, if both parents abandon self-centeredness, selfishness and unresolved personal issues during conflict or adversity. The courts ONLY care about the benefit of the child, not the mess the adults have gotten themselves into. Read this book to make a plan for yourself on how YOU alone will make the best of a serious situation. New generations are tapping out of marriage and having children, behavior and reactions are key if you ever hope for your own children to trust the journey of being a healthy single person, dating, marrying and having children of their own.

Historia
In this revolutionary book, renowned physician Gabor Maté eloquently dissects how in Western countries that pride themselves on their healthcare systems, chronic illness and general ill health are on the rise. Nearly 70 percent of Americans are on at least one prescription drug; more than half take two. In Canada, every fifth person has high blood pressure. In Europe, hypertension is diagnosed in more than 30 percent of the population. And everywhere, adolescent mental illness is on the rise. So what is really “normal” when it comes to health?

Good Book too much Politics
Revisado: 01-31-24
The book did bring up some very good points and thought provoking ways to think about anxiety, trauma etc. The examples and stories where interesting and worth hearing others experience with attempting to heal. I would've loved if the author included politics it would have been from an organizational view point rather than a one sided party. We all know politics is certainly not normal and adding that as an environmental impact should be from a non partisan level.
