Great story, but has an issue

The story is great. The only problem is that when it comes to bad guys, every single time, they are all “ass-holes.” It’s not the way I describe people so I’m uncomfortable with that. If it had just been written with more appropriate descriptors (such as liar, thug, monster, ruthless jerk…) it would be more satisfying.

As an involved grandparent, I found this book to be spot-on with descriptions and explanations. It was very well thought out, organized and well written. There was a perfect mix of experience and research reflected in it.
I would recommend this book, not only for involved grandparents, but also for parents who share their child with those grandparents.

Basically good, a little stiff

Listening to this book was a bit frustrating at first. The basic story was good, but the writing style is a little stiff. It sounds more like a college paper than real life. The performance could have been a little more consistently natural as well.
