Great book.

Spielberg rehabilitated John Hammond into this Santa Claus figure and gave the story a "family adventure" feel. The tone of these books was weirder and more violent. Muldoon, for example survives, and the staff end up slaughtering dozens of raptors with assault rifles and shoulder fire rockets.

Very good audiobook

...To what an extent the whole existence of this people is based on a continuous lie is shown incomparably by the Protocols of the Elders of Zion, so infinitely hated by the Jews. They are based on a forgery, the Frankfurter Zeitung moans and screams once every week: the best proof that they are authentic... For once this book has become the common property of a people, the Jewish menace may be considered as broken.

Only the Jew knew that by an able and persistent use of propaganda heaven itself can be presented to the people as if it were hell and, vice versa, the most miserable kind of life can be presented as if it were paradise. The Jew knew this and acted accordingly. But the German, or rather his Government, did not have the slightest suspicion of it. During the War the heaviest of penalties had to be paid for that ignorance.
