When a high-ranking officer gallops into the quiet Mistyvales, he brings a warning that shakes the countryfolk to their roots. But for Aedan, a scruffy young adventurer with veins full of fire and a head full of ideas, this officer is not what he seems. The events that follow propel Aedan on a journey that only the foolhardy or desperate would risk, leading him to the gates of the nation's royal academy - a whole world of secrets in itself. But this is only the beginning of his discoveries.

Great! Listen to or read it, you will love it. But you will hate it when you find out that the second book in the series is still being written:/

Historia
We've heard the name "Condoleezza Rice" over and over again as the spokesperson for President George W. Bush in matters of national security and foreign affairs. She presented a balanced, firm, unafraid presence to the country after the terrible events of September 11, 2001, as she spoke to the media and the public on behalf of the President. And, when the President has something to say about our friends and foes overseas, "Condi," as she is known to her friends, is usually standing in the background.

Great Audio Book
Revisado: 02-20-04
I loved listening to the life and times of Condi. She is a remarkable woman and very intelligent. She is a strong proponent for education and her example to go beyond the normal should be an inspiration to all of us. Also, her upbringing from insightful parents and family proved to be a great source of strength in Condi's life. I recommend this audio book to all ages.

While in Paris, Harvard symbologist Robert Langdon is awakened by a phone call in the dead of the night. The elderly curator of the Louvre has been murdered inside the museum, his body covered in baffling symbols. As Langdon and gifted French cryptologist Sophie Neveu sort through the bizarre riddles, they are stunned to discover a trail of clues hidden in the works of Leonardo da Vinci—clues visible for all to see and yet ingeniously disguised by the painter.

Good Listening
Revisado: 02-20-04
I like the Da Vinci Code. It kept you wanting to find out what was going to happen next. The narrarator was excellent. I did not, however, like the few cases of swear words and I think the author could have left them out and still conveyed his message. This book (audio) makes you think about some of the traditional beliefs we still have.
