Neutral analysis

Some good information here and there. Author contradicts their own advice at times, sometimes in the very next sentence, or in another chapter, so some topics are gray. The author portrays "The nice guy", or the people pleaser, as a villian, and does not know what it's like to be the nice guy. I got the impression the book is written by the kind of person that drove me to find this book. Packed with phrases and slogans you've probably heard before. Some advise doesn't seem to be reality compatible.
Overall, it's neither good nor terrible. The narrator has a clear and captivating voice throughout, read at a decent speed.

This splendid new translation of essential selections from On Anger, presented with an enlightening introduction, offers listeners a timeless guide to avoiding and managing anger. Drawing on his great arsenal of rhetoric, including historical examples, anecdotes, quips, and soaring flights of eloquence, Seneca builds his case against anger with mounting intensity.

A worthy reinforcement of stoic bearing. If you like to listen to affirmations and are looking for ways to better yourself, like me, you'll probably enjoy this book. The narrator pleasantly delivers the content with clarity from start to end. I would listen to it again.

Historia
This is the companion book to the online course Why Conflict Models Don’t Work When the Problem Is Bullying. In this audiobook, author Jennifer Hancock discusses the differences between a conflict model and a bullying elimination model and how we can use elimination models to resolve both conflicts and harassment situations ethically and effectively. Workplace bullying and harassment situations often masquerade as conflict. But they aren’t. Applying a conflict resolution model to a bullying or harassment situation makes the problem worse.

I'm being bullied at work, and I just can't afford to quit right now. This book is great for HR, but also helped me to understand why it's not stopping, even after reporting to HR. It doesn't solve my problem, but has given me some ideas on how to proceed. Workplace bullying is not illegal in the US, so the only way to defeat it is to learn about it, and try to mitigate.
