I enjoyed some of the history, but for me, it brought out some anger and frustration that stemmed from something that wasn’t from God. I love Lisa and John but for me this was a missed mark and a book I won’t finish.

This book was not what I anticipated from Jenny Allen, a writer I admire. Unfortunately, I did not enjoy this particular work as much as her others. While it may be beneficial for some readers, I personally feel that Jenny's strengths lie in guiding others towards their faith, not this topic.

John Piper did a fantastic job of delivering the gospel, sharing what our purpose in in life. I am going to purchase a copy of this book an read it again. My only regret is that I didn’t get to have this information sooner in my 46 years. ♥️🙌🏻💛
