While the world seems to be in love with the idea of tiny houses and minimalism, many of us simply can't purge it all and start from nothing. Yet a home with too much stuff is difficult to maintain, so where do we begin? Add in paralyzing emotional attachments and constant life challenges, and it can feel almost impossible to make real decluttering progress.

Inspiring, practical, effective and actionable strategy.
Revisado: 07-09-23
Hands down the best book I have read on decluttering. Dana White’s advice were clear, simple, and so doable. She made the much dreaded decluttering tasks a stress-less part of everyday life. Like some reviewer(s). I decluttered little by little as I listened to the Audible. There’s still much to do, but I can now see the end of the tunnel without feeling stressed and overwhelmed. Best of all, I know it can be done at my own speed: No pressure, no guilt. Thank you, Dana for this book!

Historia
Retired US Army Lieutenant Colonel Alexander Vindman, who found himself at the center of a firestorm for his decision to report the infamous phone call that led to presidential impeachment, tells his own story for the first time. Here, Right Matters is a stirring account of Vindman's childhood as an immigrant growing up in New York City, his career in service of his new home on the battlefield and at the White House, and the decisions leading up to, and fallout surrounding, his exposure of President Trump's abuse of power.

Beautiful and Inspirational Story of Personal Integrity and Courage!
Revisado: 12-08-21
LTC (USA, ret’d) Vindman’s quiet display of integrity and ethical/moral courage was admirable. Being a first generation immigrant who retired from 34 years of government service as a DoD civilian, his story resonated deeply with me. His strong determination to preserve the American Dream and protect the U.S. Constitution for all of us touched me to the core. It was not an easy dichotomy to face: To conform and thrive in an Institution we love and respect —not making waves to survive and secure a cushy retirement life; or to risk it all and steadfastly abide by one’s governing principle and pledge of allegiance to the U.S. Constitution? Only the bravest and strongest amongst us will risk it all and start over again, and again . . . God Bless your heart, LTC Vindman! And thank you for your continued service to this great nation that we all love.

Historia
In the years leading up to the election of Donald Trump, Congressman Adam Schiff had already been sounding the alarm over the resurgence of autocracy around the world, and the threat this posed to the United States. But as he led the probe into Donald Trump’s abuses of presidential power, Schiff came to the terrible conclusion that the principal threat to American democracy now came from within. In Midnight in Washington, Schiff argues that the Trump presidency has so weakened our institutions and compromised the Republican Party that the peril will last for years.

Insightful Firsthand Account of Unprecedented Historical Events
Revisado: 12-02-21
This book connects the dots and completes the picture for many incredulous upheavals in this country since the 2016 elections. It’s a highly effective countermeasure to Trump’s and his enablers’ corrupt politics in broad daylight. A surprisingly enjoyable and fascinating “real life storybook.” Must read (listen) for all Americans.
Thank You Congressman Schiff for taking time to write this book. It’s a great gift from you to this nation and the American people. God Bless!

Historia
Mazie Hirono is one of the most fiercely outspoken Democrats in Congress, but her journey to the U.S. Senate was far from likely. Raised on a rice farm in rural Japan, she was seven years old when her mother, Laura, left her abusive husband and sailed with her two elder children to Hawaii, crossing the Pacific in steerage in search of a better life. Though the girl then known as "Keiko" did not speak or read English when she entered first grade, she would go on to serve as a state representative and as Hawaii's lieutenant governor before winning election to Congress in 2006.

Inspirational Life Story of an Accomplished Patriot and Politician
Revisado: 10-25-21
I learned so much about the inner workings of American politics at the local, State, and National level from this book. Senator Hirono’s life story gave me a deep appreciation for how much career politicians of integrity gave of their life and talents to build, improve and preserve this great nation. I’m grateful and happy to see that many have bravely shared their invaluable experience and knowledge to enlighten the American public. Highly recommended reading/listening.

A Gripping, Awe-Inspiring Life Story of an extraordinary American, U.S. Soldier, and Warrior
Revisado: 05-05-21
I’m in awe in the face of so much strength, courage, dedication and sacrifice of a U.S. soldier and a Wounded Warrior. Fascinating, riveting and truly inspirational story of an extraordinary life. So extraordinary, yet, told in a simple, humbling and unpretentious way, Senator Duckworth’s stories resonate with Americans from all walks of life. No matter what our age and background are, every American can relate to Senator Duckworth’s struggles and find inspiration from her survival grits and determination.
Listening to the audiobook was almost like sitting at the kitchen table over a cup of tea with Senator Duckworth telling her stories in person: a truly absorbing and wonderful experience.

If anyone could be considered a Russian counterpart to the infamous British double-agent Kim Philby, it was Oleg Gordievsky. The son of two KGB agents and the product of the best Soviet institutions, the savvy, sophisticated Gordievsky grew to see his nation's communism as both criminal and philistine. He took his first posting for Russian intelligence in 1968 and eventually became the Soviet Union's top man in London, but from 1973 on he was secretly working for MI6.

Excellent factual report and cogent analysis with practical solution proposals
Revisado: 03-28-21
Best book I have read about today’s climate crisis. The proposed solutions are concrete and practical, taking into consideration the lasting impacts on global health, food supplies, economy, people lifestyle, jobs, and government policies. This book is an eye opener on so many topics about how our modern life and economy are being sustained. This would be fast unsustainable if we don’t address the climate issue
Only 3-star rating on the reading performance. The high pitch and non-stop emphasis on everything being read was very tiring to listen to. Recommend a more professional and trained reader who can better communicate the facts to the audience, and who can be convincing without arrogance.
