Jeff Strand is an amazing author. He has definitely made my list of favorites. This book was even better than the first and it was amazing too. I absolutely love Alex. He has horrible luck. The action was non-stop, and just when you thought things couldn't get any worse for Alex it did. You can listen to this without listening to the first one, but i recommend you do anyway. Amazing work Strand, as always. And narrator, too.

A dark twisted tale of friendship between man and monster.Good coming of age story of a misunderstood kid and the monster he befriends in the woods. As for he narration, it’s outstanding! He uses a whiney and almost nasally intonation for Toby, and it feels like it fits him perfectly.

I love when they throw some comedy situations into horror. It makes it so much more enjoyable. A sociopath werewolf meets his match when two guys, who are no strangers to crime, are hired to transport our supernatural creature cross-country in a van. Add an innocent bystander, and the party begins. The narrator did a great job with all the voices. I never had to wonder who was talking, the reactions were reasonable, and the female voices weren't silly. With humor, timing and emphasis is very important, and Scott Thomas excelled at that
