Historia
In Captive in Iran, Maryam and Marziyeh recount their 259 days in Evin. It’s an amazing story of unyielding faith - when denying God would have meant freedom. Of incredible support from strangers around the world who fought for the women’s release. And of bringing God’s light into one of the world’s darkest places - giving hope to those who had lost everything, and showing love to those in despair.

A story that MUST be told
Revisado: 06-15-24
This was an excellent listen, heartbreaking and yet so inspiring! The reality of these two brave women’s experiences and that of their fellow prisoners is a story that must be told and is deserving of being heard.

Republican vs. Democrat. The Haves vs. the Have Nots. Left vs. Right. Us vs. Them. We believe these are the divisions that are threatening to tear America apart. But what if the culprit isn't a political ideology or a class of people but a puppet master? He's been manipulating us for centuries–and now he’s brought us to the brink of implosion.

Riveting book and masterfully performed
Revisado: 06-15-24
I couldn’t stop listening to this book! It’s startlingly insightful and felt like the playbook against America had been opened and laid bare.
The voice actor was outstanding, as well. Perfectly performed.

A lifeline!
Revisado: 02-13-24
This book is a gift from God! Two years into marriage (10 years together) and I’ve since become a Christian while he has not. This book gently convicted me and took me out of a victim mentality that I didn’t realize I had adopted and shifted my focus back to what God calls me as His fighter to live out and I am encouraged to focus on loving God and my husband well. An excellent book for some many marital dynamics, stages, and struggles!

While the world seems to be in love with the idea of tiny houses and minimalism, many of us simply can't purge it all and start from nothing. Yet a home with too much stuff is difficult to maintain, so where do we begin? Add in paralyzing emotional attachments and constant life challenges, and it can feel almost impossible to make real decluttering progress.

An excellent guide
Revisado: 05-01-19
This book was excellent in that it focused solely and specifically on decluttering, not cleaning or organizing. She actually provides specific strategies and steps to declutter, not just theories or philosophies. Truly helpful!

Really impactful
Revisado: 08-28-18
When I first started listening to this book, I didn’t expect it to be so applicable to women from ALL walks of life. I’m single, career-focused, and don’t have children, so what could I possibly get out of a book by a working mom that talks so much about parenting? I was in for a surprise!
Rachel’s writing is raw and vulnerable and it isn’t about moms, professionals, married women, single women... it’s about being a woman and all the highs and lows that come with it. Beautiful, funny, poignant, and touching - I learned a lot from her book!

With courage, grace, and powerful insight, bestselling author Kristin Hannah captures the epic panorama of World War II and illuminates an intimate part of history seldom seen: the women's war. The Nightingale tells the stories of two sisters, separated by years and experience, by ideals, passion and circumstance, each embarking on her own dangerous path toward survival, love, and freedom in German-occupied, war-torn France—a heartbreakingly beautiful novel that celebrates the resilience of the human spirit and the durability of women. It is a novel for everyone, a novel for a lifetime.
