A fun story so far.

I am really enjoying the story so far. I have finished the book and am looking forward to the next one. The narrator really brought the story alive in my mind's eye. I really enjoyed the different kid voices, it really brought those kid adventure scenes to life. I would and will be recommending this audiobook to others. Thanks.

A must read for World Builders

Awesome world building tool.

This is a great tool for any word builder. I make home brew worlds for RPGs and while listening to this it just filled me with more and more ideas. I will continue to come back to this book whenever I am preparing to create a new world. The narrator was very engaging. The way he read kept my attention which, I'm my opinion, is what you need in a compilation of essays.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
Yes, the Cthulhu old god theme is something most of my friends would like.
Who was your favorite character and why?
Avery, the main character. He is a deep character with a dark past. In a book that has so much story going on an a hum drum main character would work, it is cool that the main character has such bag to bring with him.
Which character – as performed by Ray Greenley – was your favorite?
Janx the side-kickish action hero whaler of the story. Mr. Greenley really brings this character to life.
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
The book is really messed up at parts. Both the writer and the narrator do a great job at immersing you into the books environment, which if you like description in your fantasy horror your in for a treat.
Any additional comments?
I love the fact that this was in a collection. Definitely picking up book 3.
