Historia
From the day I was born, I was brought up to believe that Gaelic games were invented for people too stupid to understand the laws of rugby. Little did I know that one day I would become a legend of Kerry football. But then my life has taken a lot of unexpected twists and turns.

Absolutely superb as usual
Revisado: 08-27-21
The story and the narration are absolutely perfect. I can’t fault anything. Ross gets himself into and out of so many scrapes it never fails to entertain. Rory Nolan narrates superbly the voices are spot on for all the characters and never fail to be consistent throughout.
I cannot recommend this book enough!
I really hope they continue to release the back catalogue in audiobook format.

Historia
I was a rugby player with a great future behind me. A 35-year-old father of five with an expanding waistline who was trying to survive the bloody battlefield we call life. My son was locked in a violent turf war with a rival Love/Hate tour operator, my daughter was in love with a boy who looked like Justin Bieber and my old dear was about to walk up the aisle with a 92-year-old billionaire who thought it was still 1936.

Absolutely hilarious!
Revisado: 07-11-21
The story is absolutely hilarious. The narrator does a fantastic job with all the voices, accents and inflections. Entertaining from start to finish. Listened to it in two days. Couldn’t stop!

Seven Days in Augusta is a celebration of what makes the Masters singular and iconic, from the par-3 contest to Amen Corner to Butler Cabin. Mark Cannizzaro goes behind the scenes of the exclusive competition, covering wide-ranging topics including green jacket rituals, tales from The Crow's Nest atop the clubhouse, the extreme lengths some fans have gone to acquire tickets, and what goes on outside the gates during Masters week. Features some of the most memorable and dramatic moments from the tournament's history, this is an essential, expansive look at golf's favorite event.

Repetitive and very poor narration.
Revisado: 11-08-20
This book could have been half the length. There is so much repetition, the same references and stories repeated in different chapters. There are also a few mistakes at least one players first name is incorrectly stated and at one stage during the 2019 chapter (a chapter full of repetition) he mistakenly states woods took the lead on 13 with a par. It looks like an editor was sorely missed somewhere in the process.
Those are the small issues. The elephant in the room here is the narration. The accents the narrator uses when reading player quotes are embarrassing at best. There was no need to do this. It ruined the experience completely.
Unfortunately I cannot recommend this book.

Scene setting
Revisado: 10-29-20
This is an excellent book to start off a trilogy. The characters are expertly crafted and instantly engaging. The performance of the narrator is second to none and I cant wait to find out what happens in the next two parts of the trilogy.
Be aware this book is more about world building and character development than plot.
