Historia
Beautiful and brilliant sorcerer girls just can't have nice things, huh? All I wanted to do was swipe a little bit of bandit treasure. Now suddenly I'm being chased around by icky trolls, nasty demons, mean mummies, and brooding golem bad boys. And for what? A tiny little artifact that can bring about the end of the world? Hah! I'll show them there's a reason you don't cross Lina Inverse...

Excellent return of a classic!
Revisado: 07-10-23
First off, Lisa Ortiz returning just makes this even better, but for those old fans returning, this is a reprint of the original novel (before it was an anime.) It's phenomenal. The story is just as you expect and Lisa sounded like she had a great time in the booth. keep them coming!

Historia
In the fourth installment of The Dark Tower, Roland and his band have narrowly escaped the city of Lud and boarded Blaine, a train that will take them to, of all places, Kansas, where the ghost city of Topeka has been depopulated by a superflu and where, alongside Interstate 70, an emerald palace rises enchantingly. Before Roland and the companions of his ka-tet continue along the Path of the Beam, Roland must tell his companions the tale that defines him both as a man and hero.

Great narration, but meh writing
Revisado: 01-13-16
As my problem with most of King's works, they have pacing issues. the story is great. The characters interesting and unique, but there are many a time where the story just drags. Will be finishing off the series, but somewhat dread it. if it wasn't for the amazing narration, I don't think I would've made it through this book.
