Historia
The Crucible made him a warrior. It didn't prepare him to face the demons within. Reeling from the salvage site massacre, Gabriel wonders if he's a hero, a monster, or just a pawn in The Herald's games. Whatever the case: He's ready for war. Command has other plans. Enter the Proving Grounds: A site designed to test the Reclaimers' ability to survive a hostile environment with minimal supplies. Desperation is quick to turn allies into foes. And they aren't alone.

Definitely an amazing addition to the reclaimer series!
Revisado: 09-12-24
This third installation was so much more. More high octane. More collaboration. More ups and downs.. Super entertaining and leaving me wanting more immediately!
My only nitpick would be that the narration for "Project Force" was pronounced wrong every single time except the final utterance. He kept saying Praw-ject instead of PRO-ject.

Historia
Enemies emerge everywhere. Stagnation starts seeming standard. Results require Ruthlessness. Joe has been moving deeper into his study of ritual magic and further away from his combat team. He's learning more and more, but more often than not needs to choose between his research and squad leadership. Improving the town is a huge help to the guild, and they have been pushing to increase their power. Their rapid increases have not gone unnoticed. The guild receives an ultimatum, delivered by assassins and signed with blood.

Historia
When Minalan the Spellmonger was exiled from his beloved mageland of Sevendor by Prince Tavard, his friend Duke Anguin made him Count Palatine of the Magelaw, a vast realm in the Alshari Wilderlands that Minalan is all too familiar with. After the goblin invasion, the province is devastated, ruined, and peopled almost only by freed slaves. But Minalan has brought his recovering wife and family into exile with him, and he views their impoverished fief as an opportunity to build a new City of Magi in the wilderness.

If you've made it to this book, you know..
Revisado: 12-12-20
This series is fantastic and addictive.. Terry Mancour has created, in my opinion, one of the best fantasy worlds to ever exist. And perhaps, the best one this century.
This book is enthralling and the information build up never gets old. There's is so much to learn about to see and feel. All the while, Minalan deals with wars and plots that only motivate him further than before.
Truly a masterpiece. Thank you everyone who made this possible. Especially Terry Mancour for his vision. And John Lee for the eloquent narration that draws you in for more!

Historia
Jason had it all, and yet he still couldn't prevent his father's death. He didn't even have time to grieve as his mission took precedence over all else. Pressing onward was the only path. But did he possess enough strength to clear the tower, even with Roy and Olivia at his back? The answer was obvious: Only with humanity's best could he stand a fighting chance. Yet as his actions influenced the world, the more things changed. Worse, his secret identity, Index, was in the spotlight for releasing knowledge that couldn't possibly be known.

Historia
One day, six towers appear on Earth. Each one stands hundreds of stories tall, and are invulnerable to all attacks. At the base of each tower is a portal, welcoming in all who dare enter it. All sorts of magical monsters can be found inside the towers. Even treasure, magic, and superhuman strength can be acquired. The problem is that the towers aren't a friendly place. Even worse, the towers sometimes release waves of monsters to attack Earth. In the year 2083, there are only a hundred survivors. In one last attempt, they challenge the final floor without regard for their lives.

Very fun twist to the genre!
Revisado: 03-03-20
I very must enjoyed this book and am going to continue reading this entertaining series.
I recommend this to anyone who likes an action based story, mixed with the experience of Jason's existence clashing with his current state.
The book also has pretty good character development and world building.
My one true complaint is that several times in the book telling, the names of Jason and Roy were swapped during their dialogue. When Jason would clearly be the one speaking and it would state something like "Roy instructed"..
Overall worth the read.

Historia
The world watches the sky with trepidation. The insanity of Xenocide knew no bounds, and all will soon suffer the effects he had planned for a millennium. Though none know what is to come, they all know it isn't going to be easy to survive. The Master has a plan, one that can give the world at large a way to escape the onrushing desolation. It may be on the bleeding edge of morality and what he needs might prove too difficult to secure, but the Master asks for trust. Cal and Dale both have their role to play as the world hurtles toward destruction.

Historia
Joe has started to draw attention to himself and his abilities. While some of the attention is good and allows for personal growth, most of it is from various organizations that feel threatened by the sudden upswing of power that Joe's guild - The Wanderers - is attaining. As the threat to Earth begins to reach its peak, all of humanity has a choice: flee to Eternium, or stay for an uncertain future. Some stay, some go, some don't make the choice quickly enough.

Historia
After the Wolfman nation is shattered, Jaxon has enough spare time to advance his skills and specialize into a better class. Since Joe and his other teammates are either incapacitated or on a mission Jaxon does not believe in, the misunderstood chiropractor-turned-gamer strikes out on his own. The issue with creating your own path is that you have no idea what awaits you, especially when low charisma guarantees legendary misunderstandings. For Jaxon, that’s half the fun.

Historia
For eons, conquering dungeons has been the most efficient way to become a strong adventurer. Although not everything is as straightforward as it seems. Several questions have always plagued the minds of those who enter these mythical places of power: why are there so many monsters? Where do the amazing weaponry and heavy gold coins come from? Why does the very air fill with life-giving energies? Cal has all of the answers to these age-old questions, for a very simple reason. He is a Dungeon Heart.

Masterpiece.
Revisado: 07-31-19
This book is such an entertaining read. Not only does it follow a main character and his journey, but it also delves deep into the mind of a dungeon and its struggle to gain power. I was very impressed that Dakota Krout was able to make Cal's (the dungeon) story so riveting since that entire part of the story couldn't have the traditional sense of traveling for adventure.
I'd say this is a must read for any fan of the fantasy genre.

The decision to start a new life is never an easy one, but for Joe the transition was far from figurative. Becoming a permanent addition to a game world, it doesn't take long to learn that people with his abilities are actively hunted. In fact, if the wrong people gained knowledge of what he was capable of, assassins would appear in droves.
